Chapter 109 - Chapter 110 The Split of Wakanda.

Actually logically speaking, even if Wakanda were exposed, if the five great philanthropists joined forces for a peacekeeping operation, Wakanda, with its vibranium-powered tanks and aircraft, should be no match.

But this time, it wasn't possible.

Don't forget, when the Devil Hulk went into Wakanda, the entire Wakanda army mobilized to capture him.

And what happened?

They didn't capture the Devil Hulk, but many of their own troops died, and even the city where the River Tribe resided was reduced to ruins.

Most importantly,King T'Chaka had fallen into a coma again, leaving Wakanda leaderless.

They could only follow King T'Chaka's last order before his coma: to evacuate all Wakandans back to the capital and activate the capital's vibranium energy shield.

As everyone knows, the larger the area, the greater the energy consumption.

The smaller the area, the less the energy consumption.

T'Chaka was confident. Hawk might be able to break through the vibranium shield protecting the entirety of Wakanda, but he definitely couldn't break through the vibranium shield protecting the capital.

At this very moment,in the command center of the Wakanda royal palace, the atmosphere was heavy.

"It's been ten days. What do we say?"

"Has the King still not awakened?"

"If you ask me, we should just fight those bandits outside and drive them out."

"How?"

"Those outside represent the Five Good Men."

"This is our land!"

The chiefs of the various Wakanda tribes gathered together, chattering as they watched the UN peacekeeping forces assembled outside their capital on the projection.

Just then,T'Chaka, in a wheelchair and pushed forward by a seemingly capable-looking black man, appeared before them.

The chatter instantly ceased, and the tribal chiefs immediately looked at T'Chaka in his wheelchair.

"King!"

"Surei."

T'Chaka, sitting in a wheelchair, his hair gray and his face contorted in a state of disarray, said to his daughter, Shuri, who stood quietly beside him, "Contact S.H.I.E.L.D. and invite them in."

He had fainted again from rage after seeing Hawke shatter their vibranium shield with a single punch.

He had already foreseen the consequences of Wakanda's exposure.

If possible, he would rather have chosen to expose himself.

After all choosing to expose oneself and being exposed passively are two different experiences.

Unfortunately, there's no going back.

Although Wakanda's technology was ahead of the rest of the world, they were now facing the five benevolent leaders representing the global will.

If they don't cooperate, the Five Good Men might not be able to enter, but they'll be guaranteed to be unable to leave.

Because of their long isolation, Wakanda lacks any sense of crisis and has pitifully low food reserves.

Even if this stalemate continues, they'll likely perish soon.

Therefore, they now only have one path left.

Princess Shuri nodded, listening to her father's words.

The tribal chiefs' expressions changed, and they all looked at T'Chaka, who was sitting in a wheelchair.

"Your Majesty, you can't!"

"What Five Good Men? They're clearly Five Bandits! Vibranium has always been ours."

"Do you have a better way?"

Old King T'Chaka interrupted them, pointing to the UN peacekeeping force that had been deployed outside the capital in just ten days, as shown in the projection, watching the five national flags fluttering in the wind among the peacekeeping troops.

"Do you know what these five flags represent?"

"Five great benefactors."

"Do you know who the last person they treated like this was?"

"A colonel!"

"What happened to the colonel, and what happened to his country?"

"If you don't agree with my decision, you can leave on your own and your tribes can become independent.

Anyway, my Golden Tribe has already decided to surrender."

The old king T'Chaka roared in a hoarse voice.

The chiefs of the other tribes looked at each other in dismay as the old king roared.

"Surei."

"Father."

"Contact them immediately. While I still have breath in my body, I must protect our capital no matter what, or I will die with regrets."

"Father."

"Yes."

Princess Surui looked at the old king T'Chaka, whose body was increasingly dilapidated in his wheelchair, and responded with a trembling voice as she began to contact S.H.I.E.L.D. outside.

Standing behind King T'Chaka's wheelchair, T'Challa pressed his hands against his father's shoulders, feeling the life force rapidly draining from his body.

Then, watching the scene in the command center that seemed to depict the destruction of his family, a wave of grief and anger washed over him.

His family—who understood?

When he left Wakanda to travel, he was still the prince of a hidden kingdom.

But upon returning home, his home had been ransacked by the Five Good Men, and even his father was on the verge of death.

And all of this was the fault of one person.

The figure he had seen on the projection screen flashed through T'Challa's mind, and his breath caught in his throat.

"Hawk!"

  ...

"Achoo!"

Hawk, who was in the school library helping Gwen organize the yearbook, involuntarily sneezed.

Gwen, sitting cross-legged on the sofa, intently Photoshopping a photo on her computer, glanced at Hawke, who was rubbing his nose. "Got a cold?"

Hawke looked up, thought seriously for a moment, then looked at Gwen.

"It seems like someone was talking about me again."

This wasn't a hallucination.

It was a sixth sense.

Gwen tilted her head at Hawke's words.

"Peter?"

"Why would Peter be talking about me?"

"Because you're always curious about where Peter's spider silk comes from."

"Aren't you curious?"

"Of course I am."

Gwen laughed, "But I already know from Mary."

Hawke's eyes lit up.

"Where?"

"I can't say."

"What?"

Gwen shrugged, smiling at Hawke, "You didn't tell me Peter's identity; I found out myself. So I won't tell you either. If you want to know, ask Peter yourself."

Hawke's lips twitched.

"Gwen, you're so stingy."

"You just found out?"

Gwen wasn't fooled by Hawke's provocation and responded with a smile.

Just then,as if on cue,

Mary Jane and Peter walked in from outside the library.

"Gwen, is the yearbook finished?"

"Yes."

Gwen turned to Mary Jane, "Just sent it. What about your contact list?"

Mary nodded, "Also done."

Hawke was staring at Peter.

Peter, who had felt watched since entering, felt his spider-sense kick in as he looked at Hawke's gaze.

Finally.

Peter couldn't help but look at Hawke: "What's wrong?"

Hawke shrugged, staring at Peter's arms: "By the way, where did you spit out that spider silk?"

Peter's lips twitched. Looking at the two women talking beside him, he joined in: "By the way, Gwen, have you seen the latest news today?"

Gwen looked at Peter: "I dragged Hawke here first thing this morning to help me organize the yearbook.

I didn't have time to read the news. What's wrong?"

Peter didn't keep her hanging and said directly: "The United Nations has declared Wakanda a permanently neutral country, and in order to maintain peace and stability in Africa, the five major benefactors unanimously passed a resolution to jointly send troops to Wakanda."

Gwen blinked.

Mary, who was standing beside him, rested her chin on her hand and looked at her boyfriend Peter: "Didn't the United Nations announce the sending of troops to that small African country a month and a half ago?"

"This is different. Africa has been in chaos for so many years, and we've never seen the five major benefactors of the United Nations jointly maintain peace before."

The women gossiped.

The men talked about politics.

Peter shook his head, explaining, then looked at Hawke: "You're right, Hawke."

Hawke shrugged: "Africa is too far away for me, I don't care."

As he spoke, Hawke stood up and said to Gwen, "I'm going out to make a call."

Gwen nodded.

Hawke then got up, left the library, took out his phone, and called Anna.

Okay.

It would be a lie to say he didn't care.

Hawke was indeed quite concerned about the aftermath of the Wakanda situation.

The call was quickly connected.

"Hawk."

"Anna."

Hawke got straight to the point after the call connected: "The negotiations in Wakanda are over? A permanently neutral country, what kind of operation is this?"

Anna was taken aback at first, then laughed.

"You saw today's international news?"

"Yes, the negotiations are over?"

"They just ended five hours ago, and a news announcement was issued immediately afterward."

"Tell me more about it."

Hawke's eyes lit up, and after walking down the steps, he sat cross-legged on the lawn.

Women like to hear gossip.

Men also like to hear gossip, but they prefer to hear about politics.

Hawke wasn't spared either.

Anna on the other end of the phone thought for a moment, then organized her thoughts.

"Wakanda wants the Five Great Goodwills to recognize Wakanda's capital and grant it permanent neutrality, guaranteeing the Golden Tribe's core position."

"The Five Great Goodwills want Wakanda's technological data, recognition of Wakanda's permanent neutrality, and, to protect Wakanda, a joint military presence in Wakanda."

"Hiss!"

Hawke gasped upon hearing this clause: "Wakanda's armed forces have been disarmed?"

Anna smiled slightly: "You're already permanently neutral, what's the point of having armed forces?"

What would a small African country like you need so many vibranium weapons for?

To rebel against the Five Great Goodwills once you recover?

Hawke raised an eyebrow.

"Wakanda agreed?"

"The Golden Tribe agreed."

"Uh."

"After the signing announcement this morning, the River Tribe, the White Ape Tribe, and the Border Tribe of Wakanda declared independence and attacked the peacekeeping forces. The joint command is furious."

"So."

"The UN is preparing to make an example of them."

Hawke realized.

It seems Wakanda won't be settled anytime soon.

"Okay, thanks."

"You're welcome."

On the other end of the phone, Anna, sensing Hawke was about to hang up, hurriedly said, "By the way, Hawke, congratulations."

Hawke, who was just about to hang up, raised an eyebrow.

"Congratulations on what?"

"Happy graduation!"
