Chapter 98 - Chapter 98 I'm going to ravage my brothers

The trio, consisting of Justice League members Wonder Woman, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and Teen Titans member Kara, are beings who traveled from the future.

With the help of Batman and Flash, the trio used a particle accelerator to travel back more than ten years to the time when the Justice League was just established.

But the trio found that the timing seemed to be a bit off.

Looking at the dilapidated building standing where the Justice League Hall should have been, the trio was somewhat speechless.

"I often heard my mother tell me that time is the most unplayable thing, and now I understand that truth."

Hal sighed, "I need to inquire about the time. Maybe we returned to the barbaric colonial era of the nineteenth century, or perhaps worse, we returned to the Great Depression. I know how hopeless people were back then. Without hope, there's no need for superheroes to appear."

Hal grumbled as he walked away.

Diana ignored Hal's complaints, frowned, surveyed the surroundings, and walked directly towards the Justice Society Headquarters in front of her.

After pushing open the iron gate, they wanted to enter the hall, but the two were stopped by a password lock.

"This is the benefit of having eyes that can see through things."

Kara said, activating her Super Vision. She observed the different fingerprint pressure distributions on the password lock and used this method to find the password.

"OK, the first number is 6. My intuition has always been accurate. I once used my method to catch a purple Owl. It would have been difficult to catch him with my abilities, but I used my intuition."

Kara chattered on, pressing the second number on the password lock.

"Move aside!"

Diana, cloaked, seemed somewhat annoyed by Supergirl's incessant chatter. She reached out, directly gripped the password lock, and with a bang, the password lock exploded.

Kara looked at the sparking, exposed-wire password lock in front of her, somewhat speechless.

"Didn't you think about what would happen if you damaged the password lock?"

Kara, recovering from her daze, asked Diana helplessly.

"If it triggers an alarm and someone comes, that's even better. It saves me the trouble of finding them myself."

Diana said calmly.

"..."

Kara felt it was too absurd.

Originally, she saw herself as a violent girl, but compared to Wonder Woman, she felt a bit too well-behaved.

After breaking the password lock, Diana walked straight into the somewhat unfamiliar building in front of her.

No alarm sounded, and no one rushed out.

"Alright."

Kara blinked, "This time we're lucky; we encountered a password lock that was as good as useless."

The two entered the hall and walked forward along the dark corridor.

Upon entering the hall, they found a round table covered with a white cloth in the center, surrounded by several chairs.

Several pillars stood around, adorned with portraits.

Diana silently walked over, surveyed the round table, and then pulled back the white cloth covering it.

The lights in the hall came on, and the previously dark environment became slightly brighter.

Kara stared at a portrait on a pillar, "Who is this? A male version of Catwoman?"

"Ted Grant, nicknamed Wildcat."

Diana gently stroked the dust on the round table, "I now know what era we have arrived in and what this place is."

"So what's the truth?"

Kara touched her nose, asking her curiously.

"We have arrived in the early twenty-first century, before the birth of the Justice League, and this place..."

Diana looked at the Owl on the metal shelf, tilting her head, "...is the Justice Society of America, an organization that has already declined and disappeared."

"I always thought the Justice League Headquarters was in the Watchtower. I didn't expect that besides being in synchronous Earth orbit, there was also a headquarters on Earth, and its predecessor was the Justice Society of America, which I've never even heard of."

Kara stood aside, observing the portraits on the pillars in front of her while complaining.

"Not only that, guess what I found."

Green Lantern Hal walked in along the corridor, "Homelander and Superman should still be in high school now. Batman has just started his first step and seems to have encountered a tricky existence. I heard he's in a sorry state right now."

"Eric and Clark?!"

Supergirl exclaimed with surprise, "That's right, they should still be in high school at this time, freely enjoying the taste of youth. To be honest, I haven't seen an underage Eric and Clark yet. I think they must be very innocent. As their older sister, I want to torment them!"

Hal glanced at Kara, "May I ask you a question?"

"What?"

"Sometimes you're Superman's younger cousin, sometimes his older cousin, so are you an older sister or a younger sister?!"

"Older sister!"

Kara answered without hesitation.

"OK, I understand, but I have some doubts about an answer that involves dignity."

Hal shrugged, then his gaze was immediately drawn to a piece of equipment nearby.

"What is this?"

He reached out and touched the Green Lantern in front of him, "Is this a Green Lantern?"

"No, it's damaged. The wick is broken and cannot provide energy for the Green Lantern Ring, but I can feel the residual energy on it."

Hal gently touched the Green Lantern in front of him, "Alan Scott, this is its owner!"

(Alan Scott, the first Green Lantern)

"Maybe if you fix it, it can provide energy for your ring. If, and I mean if, you really fix it, you'll have two chargers. Surprising, isn't it?"

"Thanks!"

Hal said thank you to Supergirl, speechless.

He then looked at Diana, who had been silent, "What should we do now? I estimate the particle accelerator isn't enough for us to travel through time again."

"Kara."

Diana didn't answer Hal's question, but directly said, "You know where Clark and Eric live at this time, right?"

"Of course, Smallville, Kansas."

Kara said excitedly, "Are we going to Smallville next?"

But her enthusiasm quickly cooled. She knew that although her Superman cousin had joined the Justice League, he didn't seem to care much about his identity as a Justice League member.

Compared to his Justice League identity, Clark was more keen on hanging out with Eric.

As for Eric, who didn't have a good relationship with the Justice League, Clark always trusted him unconditionally.

Sometimes he even openly defied the Justice League's orders.

She knew Diana hated Eric, although she didn't know why, but it was said that Diana had suffered a lot at Eric's hands, which was why she hated him so much.

"Yes, Smallville. Since we have traveled to this period, it means we can change some predetermined facts that have happened in the past."

Smallville, accident scene.

"Mr. Lex, I know your power, but I would rather believe that under rules and treaties, you will slightly restrain your behavior."

Kendra, the old police officer who had previously arrested Clark, looked at Lex Luthor, who appeared at the Andy Hawkins case scene, and said with a serious expression.

"And I find that you often appear at accident scenes. If you try to interfere with our case in any way, believe me, even if your father is very powerful, he will pay a sufficient price."

"I understand what you mean, Officer Kendra, but in fact, I previously acquired the land here, which means I have the right to use this land, and – the right to know."

Lex showed Officer Kendra a document.

"So, you want me to tell you what happened here?"

"No, I just want to go in and take a look. I don't think that's an excessive request, Officer Kendra wouldn't refuse, right?"

Facing Officer Kendra's impolite attitude, Lex still smiled.

"Then you'd better be careful, it's a bit slippery in there. By the way, I'll be watching you, Mr. Lex."

"I will."

Lex smiled and nodded, then turned and walked towards the accident site.

Upon entering the sealed area, Lex immediately smelled blood.

According to what he understood, Andy Hawkins had been thrown onto a car by Clark and demanded a million in compensation from Clark.

An accident happened in less than a day.

While drinking and partying with friends, Andy and his friends had a conflict.

The crowd, filled with violence and anger, engaged in a large-scale fight.

Andy Hawkins also died directly in the conflict because his already "injured" neck was damaged.

Looking at the bloodstains on the ground and the messy scene, smelling the pungent and uncomfortable odor, Lex's brows furrowed even tighter.

Was it Eric, or Clark, or was it just an accident?

He fell into deep thought.

After leaving the accident scene, Lex drove his Ferrari to a street corner.

He stopped the car and found the phone number named "W" in his phone book.

In less than half an hour, a car sped over.

The car stopped opposite Lex, the window rolled down, and a police officer wearing sunglasses handed a document to Lex.

"This is about the Andy Hawkins case. Next time, don't come to me for this kind of thing again."

Lex took off his sunglasses and said with a smile, "Of course, I know you've done a lot of power-for-money deals for my father, and I also know that your bottom line can sometimes be easily broken."

"W" gave Lex a deep look and drove away.

Lex picked up the file and began to read it in the car.

At this moment, Eric and Clark had no idea that two groups of people were simultaneously targeting them.

Eric encountered a troublesome existence.

A girl from the baseball team named Dana approached him as he was about to leave school.

"I saw you catch that baseball at seventy yards. Can you teach me how you did it, Eric?"

Dana, with some Asian features, pestered Eric with her question.

"If I were you, I'd stay far away, because I'd be afraid of getting hurt."

Facing her persistent pestering, Eric said impolitely.

If he hadn't considered that they were at school and would be seen, Eric would have directly thrown her out.

"I believe I'm not the type to get hurt easily. I like confrontation, and I'm not afraid of it at all, even though it put me on the bench."

Dana didn't seem to understand Eric's words, shrugging her shoulders as she replied to him.

"Oh really? That means you haven't been punished enough!"

A red glow flashed in Eric's eyes.

The next second, Dana's skirt burst into flames.

Dana, who was about to continue talking to Eric, suddenly found her skirt on fire.

Screaming, she immediately fumbled to put out the fire on her skirt.

Although the surrounding students were startled, they didn't come over to help. Instead, after the initial shock, they gathered around to watch the commotion.

Fortunately, the fire was small, and the fire on Dana's skirt was quickly extinguished.

But she was covered in ash, especially her skirt, which was half exposed, making her look somewhat disheveled.

The scoundrel Eric, having completed everything, felt no guilt and simply turned and left.

But two figures stood in front of him, blocking his way.

One was a golden-haired, well-built man.

The other was an Asian woman with a sharp face that didn't conform to traditional Asian aesthetics.

The two stood in front of Eric, glaring at him with cold eyes.

"Your name is Eric Kent, right?"

The blond man asked him.

Before Eric could answer, the woman added, "You don't seem to understand a bit of rules, especially when facing people you should be careful with. So, watch your words and actions. Refusing and standing idly by will make you make mistakes."

Eric frowned, "What do you want to say? I generally don't like riddles, especially when facing people like you who make me uncomfortable."

Seeing Eric's arrogant attitude, the blond man seemed provoked. He reached out to grab Eric's shoulder.

But after grabbing Eric's shoulder, before he could exert force, he immediately felt his body as if struck by an electric current.

A sharp pain in his chest, and his body slammed heavily against the wall.

Eric, who had just updated his template progress and whose body was heavily "Kryptonized," possessed strength beyond the two's imagination.

The blond man, who wanted to make a move, immediately suffered.

Seeing the surrounding students tending to gather, Eric didn't stay long and left directly.

School wasn't suitable, so he would find a deserted place to give the other party an unforgettable lesson.

Eric pondered as he walked.

The Asian woman saw her husband hit the wall and immediately helped him up after reacting.

"What's wrong with you?"

"I don't know, but this guy is a very dangerous person."

The blond man didn't look scared; instead, his eyes were filled with excitement.

"Perhaps we've found something interesting."
