The young man at the birthday party keeps staring at Amy, he gives her the flirtatious smile and turns to mind his own business. Amy feels butterflies in her tummy because she's been crushing on this boy since forever. Samantha, her bestfriend nudges her on her shoulder. "Amy, why don't you go close to him, shoot your shot" Amy blushes then turns her head as if she doesn't care, " Sam, you talk too much, who says I'm interested in him?"
Samantha says " Well, if you say so" then shrugs her shoulder. Samantha then later stood up, walked close to the young man then whispers something into his ears, he smiles, then turn to look at Amy again.
Samantha then gives him a thumbs up. The young man stands up, walks slowly close to Amy's table then leans down close to her face and...
The alarm in Amy's room rings disturbing her from her sleep. She wakes up grumbling to herself and cursing. "Fuck, why does this alarm always ruin the best moment for me, he was right beside me, damn." Her dad knocks on her door and comes in, " Sweetie, it's already sunrise, you'll be late to school again get off that bed and why are you grumbling?" Amy looks at her dad for a while then says "Morning dad" giving him a huge smile then a peck on his cheek.
Her dad also smiles back at her and says "well morning to you also, now get off that bed" then leaves her room shouting behind him " breakfast's already on the table, hurry before it gets cold."
She then gets off the bed and out of the room, walks into the bathroom and prepares for the day. When she came to the kitchen, her dad was already leaving for work. "Already leaving?" She asks. "Well yeah, I have something to work on as soon as possible, I'll be late tonight and take care. I love you" pecks her on the head. "Okay, love you dad and stay safe" she replied.
After getting done with everything, she sets off for school. She's currently attending Kingston's senior high, a public school in her area. On reaching the gates of the school, she smiles at the security, which he returns her smile then she walks into the compound.
"Well, today's gonna be a long day!!" she says in her head.
