Rena caught us and slowed our fall. I went blind and lost most of my complicated tech, including my cybernetic inner ear. My AI shut down and I had to strap Sasha to my back to carry her. I was much smaller than her as she seemed to have stayed the same height at 6ft 3in (almost 2 meters). Despite the extreme size difference I could still easily carry her with my enhanced body.
"Rena, I've lost most of my navigational senses. I'll need you to find civilization and help me identify this world." There was a brief silence as Rena took my hand. She had probably nodded or even said something. With my eyes out and my inner ear chrome shot I only had touch, smell, and taste, alongside my sixth sense. It was hard at first as Rena dragged me along but I learned to stay moving and light as we were definitely in a forest, and with my balance mostly gone and my sight completely gone walking was hard.
"Ro." I squinted at where Rena was. "What did you say Rena?" I heard a sigh and she spoke again. "Road." A road in the wilderness, it helped but got us no closer to knowing where we were. "Good job Rena. Let's follow the road, tell me as soon as you see any more signs of civilization."

It took us 3 hours to find anything. A town in a valley, with thatched roofs and cobblestone streets. It had gradually gotten colder as we travelled, luckily however we had our suits which kept us warm. As we walked into the town we got lots of weird looks according to Rena. "Father, there's a large castle over there." She raised my hand in the direction of the castle she saw. "There's also a weird arena like place with big colored towers beside it." I large castle near a snowy old fashioned town, with a weird arena with colorful towers. That sparked a memory, which in turn sparked a suspicion. "Rena, what are the towers colors?" If she listed the colors I remembered we were definitely in that world.
"The towers all have two colors respectively, red and gold, green and silver, yellow and black, blue and bronze. Do they mean something?" I thought for a moment, then answered. "The red and gold are of gryffindor, and represent courage and bravery. Green and silver for slytherin, representing cunning and ambition. Yellow and black for hufflepuff, hard work and loyalty. Finally blue and bronze for ravenclaw, representing knowledge and wisdom. The colors and house names represent many different things and it also means I know the world we are now in."
I had Rena lead us up the path to Hogwarts castle. The gates of the castle popped open without us doing anything. We continued up the path and I began hearing things. "Rena, what going on? What am I hearing?" Rena slowed and spoke. "There's a lot of weird kids around. Their looking at us weirdly." She paused for a second. "Some of them are coming towards us. One with black hair and glasses. He feels powerful. One had messy brown hair and looks concerned. There are twins behind them. They look like trouble. The twins are arguing with the girl."
I then heard some bickering approaching us and felt arena stop. "Hello, are you three lost? Is the girl on your back hurt?" A concerned British girl spoke. I recognized the girl's description and could assume she would understand most of what I was going to say. I looked in her direction clearly allowing her to see my dim eyes. "We shouldn't be lost as I'm pretty sure this is Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And the girl on my back should be fine, however I don't exactly know as none of my tech is working." I stopped to wait for an answer but when none came I spoke again. "If this is Hogwarts and Albus Dumbledore is still headmaster I'd ask that you lead us to him." In the background I could make out the twins talking with who I presumed was Harry Potter.
"Umm, sure, just follow me. I'll take you to his office." Rena then started following her while towing me along. We traveled through long hallways and up multiple flights of stairs with me hitting a fake stair and smashing my nose at one point. By that point Harry had shaken off the twins and had taken the lead with Hermione taking my other hand to help guide me. When we got to the entrance to the headmaster's office Harry gave some wizarding candy name and stone slid across stone.
We walked up a flight of twisted stairs and went through a doorway. The room we entered was warm, filled with quiet annoying sounds, and a pleasant ash smell. From a distant corner of the room came a voice I couldn't make out but I could here Harry and Hermione greet the voice as Headmaster Dumbledore. Suddenly an old voice asked. "And who might you young ones be?"
I looked at him as best I could and responded. "You can call me Ellery, this (I raised Rena's hand) is my adopted daughter Rena, and the lady on my back is Sasha, my cybernetic cat-girl. I came here hoping that you could help me protect our technology against the magic of this world. I'd also ask for your discretion in this matter, I'd rather not have ministry goons sniffing where they might find a high caliber weapon aimed at them."
Dumbledore chuckled as spoke. "You'll have my discretion as long as it's needed. You'll also get my help. With that said please remove Sasha from your back. I'll take her and lie her on this table." I felt him move and I started unstrapping Sasha from me. Rena took pity on my fumbling and vanished the straps and lifted her.
Hermione led me to a seat and Dumbledore asked. "Who shall I work with first?"
"Get my eyes working first please, then get my storage working. I'll need it to check on Sasha." He replied with a hmm then spoke. "Please open your eyes as much as you can, I have worked with muggle technology before but never something this complicated." I leaned back and got comfortable then opened my eyes. Rena kept them moist so Dumbledore didn't have to worry about them closing. I didn't have to worry about his legilimency as my eyes were cybernetic and I had the head band I had made in the fallout world to counter Rena's mind reading.
I sat there for around two hours, Dumbledore doing what seemed like nothing. Harry and Hermione had stayed here the entire time and had asked many questions. Eventually my eyes suddenly lit up and I saw a blue screen. Lots of text pored out and went by then the world started loading in. My vision was still pixelated but, I could now see. With my eyesight back I removed my AI data storage device from my back and held it up. This time the protections went much faster.
With the device working I hooked it back to myself and then connected myself to Sasha. She had dropped into a coma and most of her chrome was completely dead. The only thing I was worried about however was her brain. The hardened tech within her was keeping her organics alive and well but the chrome in her brain was incredibly complex and could have suffered damage.
I opened her brain case after removing the hair connection plating and started scanning with what I had. Rena had taken a seat as Dumbledore watched with intrigue. Harry was holding Hermione as she looked on in a bit of horror at Sasha's wire brain. I luckily didn't find any damage so I asked Dumbledore to immediately cover her in the protections he'd given me.
