It was the next day after, and Shinji was waiting by the door of his restaraunt. He was wearing something different from his chef clothes, A white t-shirt with black jeans with his shirt tucked in. He was wearing some running shoes for comfort and he was expecting a long run for today, possibly being their till the night dawns upon them.
'I wonder what she will wear?' thought Shinji as he finally noticed Sakura came down from the above. She was beautiful from an objective standpoint, and he could see why many men would have fallen for her looks. Her violet hair was tied back in a ponytail, she was wearing a white blouse with a blue skirt and she had flat heels on. She also had two white gloves on and made Shinji look like he was just lazy in his appearance.
Then again, Shinji didn't look to bad, its just that Sakura outclassed him in many ways. "You look nice" said Shinji as Sakura looked abashed at the comment, her emotions slowly peeking through. While she was sometimes monotnous, she does have some good emotion. "Thank you" she said quietly, still not used to nice comments.
"You ready?" asked Shinji as Sakura nodded and taking her by the hand, Shinji lead them outside. The time was noon, the sun high in the sky. "What a wonderful day" Shinji muttered as they decided to just explore the town. If he remembered correctly, the occult research club was on the school that wasn't that far off.
"What do you want to do first?" asked Shinji to Sakura as the choice landed on her. She seemed really indecisive until something appeared in her mind. "Can we get ice cream?" she asked timidly, like she felt asking for something nice was a taboo. "Of course, lets go ask someone if they know a good spot for ice cream, and lunch potentially" said Shinji as they walked around until they came across a mother with a small boy.
"Hey ma'am" signalled Shinji as he caught the mothers attention. She walked over with her boy in tow and said, "Yes, how may I help you?" she asked with a warm smile. "Hey ma'am, sorry for bothering you, but can you give us a good recommendation for a lunch spot with good ice cream?" asked Shinji as the mother began to contemplate. "I think a restaraunt called Lazy Lunch is a good spot for good food with cheap prices" she said as she came to the conclusion.
"Thank you ma'am" Shinji bowed as he said and left with Sakura trailing behind him. "Thank you" said Sakura as they neared the lunch spot. "Don't thank me, you need to have fun sometimes and its my fault for not going out as much" said Shinji as they entered the lunch spot and got two meals, a cheeseburger and fries with two strawberry cheesecake milkshakes.
"Delicious" said Sakura as they took a bit of their burger and dipped their fries in the milkshake. "That's a really good combo" Shinji muttered through mouthfuls of food. Sakura could be seen enjoying the food, the milkshake particularly to her liking. Shinji couldn't deny the flavor the food had. He wondered if he could peruse the recipes in his head for delicious milkshakes. 'Maybe peaches from the queeen mother of the west? Or how about the apples from Eden in a Sunday?' he pondered.
He shook the thoughts from his mind as they finished their food. "Well, what else do you wanna do Sakura?" asked Shinji. Sakura looked thoughtful about the question as she said, "Can we go to a game shop?" asked Sakura with a little more confidence than before. "You wanna try some games, what kind?" asked Shinji as they went looking around for a game shop to stop by at. It was conveniently located by the local arcade by the looks of it.
"I don't know, what do you recommend?" asked Sakura. They entered the shop as they perused the sections looking for interesting titles. 'Dark souls came out in, 2011?' he tried to remember. It was one of the various games he played before he was, transmigrated? He didn't really feel the need to deliberate on the term and thus didn't dwell on it. He found a selection of various Zelda games and also recalled them fondly.
"Lets buy a couple of these okay" said Shinji, as he feels it would be a good introduction to the gaming sphere for someone so uninitiated, and he wanted to experience them again through a more fresh and nostalgic lense. He also saw wind waker in there and he felt he had to get a lot of the systems. He paid for them and they left the game store.
The sun was still shining and they decided going to the park after dropping the games and systems off at the shop. The park wasn't far from where they were, and they saw it had a fountain as well and thats when they came across a familiar face along with an unfamiliar one.
"Hey Issei!" shouted Shinji as the brown haired, lecherous pervert turned towards him along with the blond next to him carrying what looks like a Raichu knockoff. "Hey shop owner!" he greeted cheerfully, "Fancy meeting you here." Now of course they weren't personal with each other, they seemed to connect with the perverts innate cheerfulness.
The nun next to him looked on curiously as Issei seemed to remember the two hadn't met, nor had he got the shop owners name either. "Oh sorry for not introducing her, this is Asia Argento, a nun from Italy" said Issei as the nun introduced herself and waived. "Hello, I'm Asia Argento" she said in Italian. Shinji of course understood her, as he casted a spell over them for translation, based on the devils ability to translate languages.
It was useful as Sakura introduced herself and a conversation came up between them, only to be interrupted by one who seemed to strike an uneasy in Isseis soul.
