Coral stared at the suitcase lying open on her bed.
It felt strange.
A week ago, if someone had told her she would be moving into her boss's mansion and living under the same roof as him, she would have laughed in disbelief. Yet here she was, folding her clothes and packing everything she would need for the next few days.
"You're overthinking again."
Einar's voice pulled her from her thoughts.
She looked up to find her leaning against the doorway with her arms crossed.
"I'm not overthinking."
"You are."
Jack nodded in agreement from where he sat on the couch.
"You've folded that shirt three times already."
Coral glanced down. The shirt was indeed folded perfectly.... twice. Maybe three times.
She sighed. "Wouldn't anyone be nervous in my situation?"
Einar grinned. "No. Most people would be excited."
"I'm moving into my boss's house, not going on vacation."
"Same thing," Einar teased.
Coral threw a pillow at her. She easily caught it and laughed. Jack chuckled.
