Tokiwadai Middle School was located in the Garden of Schooling within Academy City's Seventh School District.
It was a premier private aristocratic girls' school in Academy City and worldwide, one of the five prestigious schools.
However, the school had no elementary or high school divisions, only a middle school.
It excelled in ability development within Academy City, with one entry requirement being "Level 3 strong ability or above."
In other words, anyone entering the school was basically a Level 3 esper.
Thus, the student body was pitifully small.
While other schools had thousands of students, Tokiwadai Middle School had only 180.
But this elite education led to exceptionally high student quality.
Among Academy City's seven Level 5 espers,
Two attended Tokiwadai Middle School.
One was the Railgun Misaka Mikoto, whom Morpheus sought.
The other was Mental Out, Shokuhou Misaki.
The school emphasized practicality in ability development, practicing elite education with the理念 of "creating international top talents during compulsory education."
It focused not only on esper development but also on multifaceted education, even teaching repair methods for scattered Persian rugs in home economics and including piano and violin in music classes.
Though no homework was assigned during winter and summer breaks, students received a series of project assignments.
Additionally, the school's provided nutrition sets were highly premium, sold for 40,000 yen each in the underground "school cafeteria restaurant."
To outsiders, it was entirely a school for young ladies.
Even more outrageous, Tokiwadai's rules were extremely strict.
Students had to wear uniforms even off-campus, in dorms, and during breaks.
Since excessive dieting could hinder development and potentially affect esper growth, the school prohibited dieting.
Tokiwadai also emphasized student security, such as requiring haircuts at school-designated salons to prevent hair and blood—typical genetic samples—from leaking.
But even such an excellent school wasn't Academy City's No. 1.
The true No. 1 was Nagatenjouki Academy.
One of Academy City's five prestigious schools.
Unlike Tokiwadai's one-sided pursuit of ability development, it fully considered talents beyond abilities when admitting students.
In the previous year's Daihasei Festival, it defeated Tokiwadai to claim victory.
It ranked first in Academy City's ability development departments.
It was also the school Accelerator attended.
But since Morpheus had already dealt with Accelerator, he figured Nagatenjouki Academy would lose its dominance this year, yielding to Tokiwadai.
Uh... getting off track.
Anyway, under Morpheus's lead, the hundred-plus Misaka Sisters arrived grandly at Tokiwadai Middle School.
This procession naturally drew countless stares.
After all, even quintuplets would make passersby turn heads, let alone over a hundred identical Misaka Sisters.
A group like this on the streets was too eye-catching.
But Morpheus didn't care; the headache wasn't his, but for certain people in Academy City.
Why should Morpheus mind?
As Tokiwadai Middle School drew nearer, the Misaka Sisters began chattering more.
"We're about to meet onee-san. I wonder what she'll think when she sees us—will she be angry? Misaka Misaka said worriedly."
The speaker was none other than Last Order, the Misaka Sisters' Last Order.
The youngest among the Misaka Sisters.
Morpheus smiled, picking up Last Order and saying with a laugh, "Don't worry. Though I haven't met Misaka Mikoto, I've learned about her character through certain means."
"She won't be angry; she'll feel sorry for you all."
"Though shocked at first seeing you, she'll ultimately accept you."
Last Order looked up, her eyes shining at Morpheus. "Is what Morpheus says true? Will onee-san really accept us? Misaka Misaka said excitedly."
Morpheus nodded. "Yes, just give her time."
Last Order raised her hands in cheer. "Yay! Misaka Misaka wants to spoil in onee-san's arms, Misaka Misaka said impatiently."
Morpheus said confidently, "Don't worry, Mikoto will fulfill that small wish. I can even provide you all with a very fun gift."
"When Mikoto sees this gift, she'll be thrilled."
Last Order said excitedly, "What gift is it? Misaka Misaka wants to know."
Having seen the plot, Morpheus knew Misaka Mikoto's favorite toy was Gekota.
It was a frog-shaped doll, part of a series with Pyonta aimed at young audiences as fictional merchandise.
Morpheus used magic to create a bunch of Gekota items, including but not limited to Gekota pendants, backpacks, stationery, bag charms, necklaces, rings, pajamas, and more.
He distributed them all to the Misaka Sisters; each of the hundred-plus got a Gekota toy.
With these toys, closing the distance with Misaka Mikoto would be trivial.
Last Order looked at the pendant in her hand, glancing skeptically at Morpheus.
"Misaka Misaka is a bit curious—will these really please onee-san? Misaka Misaka asked worriedly."
Though a clone of Misaka Mikoto, Last Order didn't seem to like Gekota.
"No problem at all."
Morpheus assured there was no issue.
Under everyone's expectant gazes, Tokiwadai Middle School finally came into view.
When the school security saw Morpheus arriving at the gate with a horde of Misaka Sisters, they were dumbfounded.
Misaka Mikoto was a school celebrity, Academy City's Level 5 esper.
Now suddenly seeing a bunch of Misaka Mikotos, all in Tokiwadai uniforms, looked utterly wrong no matter how you sliced it.
When did Misaka Mikoto learn shadow clones?
But if not shadow clones, then what?
Could they be multiples?
But that was too absurd—how fertile was Misaka Mikoto's mom to birth so many identical Misaka Mikotos?
After snapping back, the security immediately reported it to the school higher-ups.
The higher-ups, upon arriving hurriedly at the gate and seeing the horde of Misaka Sisters, were also stunned.
What what what what what is this? Why are there so many Misaka Mikotos at the school gate?
It was simply unbelievable.
