Morpheus was no stranger to the concept of a Extra-Dimensional Demon.
Before his traversal, he had been a fan of Marvel.
A Extra-Dimensional Demon was a unique entity in the Marvel universe.
One after another, they were titans who held dominion over an entire dimension.
The power of their dimension was at their command, wielded freely.
Terrifying, to say the least.
In the Marvel universe, the most well-known Extra-Dimensional Demon was Doctor Strange's nemesis, Dormammu.
He was the Lord of the Dark Dimension.
Despite his debut in the Doctor Strange movie, where he was forced to retreat by the Time Stone with little grandeur, Dormammu's strength was undeniable.
In the comics, Dormammu was one of the greatest mystical entities across all dimensions in the Marvel multiverse, claiming power rivaling Odin or Zeus. One of his feats included daring to challenge Eternity, one of the five cosmic entities.
His vast abilities included matter transmutation, interdimensional teleportation, size and shape manipulation, elemental control, telepathy, creating artificial life, and empowering others.
Dormammu could summon the mystical energies of the entire Dark Dimension, along with his own innate power, commanding its vast resources as its ruler.
This alone showcased Dormammu's might.
Yet, he wasn't even the most powerful among Dimension Lords.
There were others stronger than Dormammu.
Take Cytorak, the ruler of the Crimson Cosmos.
He was a heavyweight.
Though he hadn't yet appeared in the cinematic universe, his strength was top-tier, easily capable of overpowering Dormammu.
In his Crimson Cosmos, Cytorak was an omnipotent being.
In the comics, he had kidnapped Galactus and Doctor Strange, ignored the powers of the Infinity Gems, defeated former gods, and more.
Warping space or erasing time was child's play to him.
His most famous battle?
Someone wielding one-fifth of the Phoenix Force's fragment tried to negotiate with him, only to be casually tossed out of the Crimson Cosmos.
And that was the Phoenix Force.
The most fearsome entity in the Marvel multiverse, its fiery judgment capable of rebirth or destruction of anything in the universe—even the universe itself.
Even with just a fifth of its power, it was explosively potent.
Yet, in Cytorak's presence, it was effortlessly expelled.
That showed just how terrifying Cytorak was.
The Crimson Lord was truly formidable.
And now, Morpheus, like Dormammu of the Dark Dimension and Cytorak of the Crimson Cosmos, had become a genuine Dimension Lord—a Extra-Dimensional Demon.
This was... absolutely fantastic.
The next second, Morpheus passed through the door within his body and entered his dimension.
Morpheus's dimension could be called the Light Dimension, the polar opposite of Dormammu's Dark Dimension.
The entire dimension was enveloped in radiant light, containing nothing else.
Just a vast, white expanse.
Moreover, Morpheus noticed something else.
His Light Dimension was tiny.
Cytorak, the Crimson Lord, had a Crimson Cosmos that could be considered a universe.
Dormammu, the Dark Lord, could condense a head from dark energy the size of Earth.
And Morpheus's dimension?
He estimated it was about the size of a single planet.
Morpheus reckoned that among all dimensions, his was downright petite.
Even so, Morpheus was still a Dimension Lord.
In status, he stood equal to Dormammu and Cytorak.
They were Dimension Lords, and so was he.
But in terms of strength, Morpheus was no match for either. Both could crush him with ease.
Morpheus didn't mind, though.
Becoming a Dimension Lord was already a stroke of fortune.
And a planet-sized dimension was plenty large for him.
More importantly, within this dimension, Morpheus was the supreme deity, unchallenged by anyone.
The Light Dimension also granted Morpheus fearsome power, elevating him to new heights.
Now, Morpheus had enough courage to step out of his house. If he encountered the yokai that devoured his predecessor, Morpheus could crush it with a single finger.
That was the power of a Extra-Dimensional Demon.
But before that, Morpheus decided to remodel his Light Dimension.
After all, it was too monotonous, filled only with light and nothing else.
Under Morpheus's touch, the Light Dimension soon underwent dramatic changes.
Now, it had an atmosphere, water sources, land, and even grasslands and hills.
Morpheus even built a luxurious palace on the vast plains.
Now, the dimension looked far more appealing.
As a Dimension Lord, he was an omnipotent deity within the Light Dimension.
Remodeling a dimension was a simple task.
The only flaw was the absence of a sun.
The Light Dimension had no day-night cycle; it was perpetually daytime, wrapped in a layer of white light.
There would never be night.
Of course, this was merely the initial phase of remodeling.
In the days to come, Morpheus planned to deeply transform the Light Dimension.
That, however, wasn't something he could complete in a day or two.
Fortunately, time was no longer a concern for Morpheus. As a Extra-Dimensional Demon, as long as his dimension didn't collapse, he wouldn't die.
Of course, Morpheus knew Rome wasn't built in a day.
So, he planned to dedicate a bit of time each day to reshaping the Light Dimension.
The rest of the time? Eat, drink, and enjoy life—he wouldn't shortchange himself.
Beyond that, Morpheus had one crucial task.
To avenge his predecessor.
The predecessor had been devoured by a yokai. Now that Morpheus occupied his body, it was only right to seek vengeance.
This was about settling karma.
Only by resolving this karma could Morpheus use this body with a clear conscience, living freely and enjoying this world.
With that thought, Morpheus decisively left the Light Dimension and returned to the real world.
Ding-dong!
At that moment, as if on cue, the doorbell rang.
Morpheus froze, walked to the entrance, and called out, "Who's there?"
A soft, pleasant voice replied, "Is this Morpheus? I'm your homeroom teacher, here for a home visit."
