Faced with the adoring gaze of the undead woman he had just resurrected, Ronan felt uncomfortable, especially after hearing her words.
"I am not a king. But, yes, I did resurrect you," Ronan replied uncertainly, slowly taking a step back, trying to get away from the undead woman.
"Only His Majesty the King will save me from the darkness!" The undead woman's blood-red eyes flashed sharply with vengeance. "I know His Majesty the King will not abandon me," continued the undead woman. In an instant, her vengeful eyes had turned to adoration.
Ronan felt that something was wrong here, especially when he heard a notification from the System telling him that the woman was an Undead with a strong grudge.
"One thing is for sure, I am not a King or anything like that. So you can stop calling me that," said Ronan, slightly annoyed by the undead woman's greeting.
A threatening cold aura began to emanate from the undead woman, and loud screams of anger started to ring in his ears.
"No way! This must all be a dream. His Majesty the King would never leave me and choose that damn bitch!" The undead woman roared with vengeance, and a cold night wind began to whip around them.
"Damn, that woman seems to really hold a grudge against the person called 'His Majesty the King'. What should I do in this situation, system?" Ronan covered his ears with his hands, greatly disturbed by the noise made by the undead woman.
[The System has something called Revenge Points. The Host will get a number of Revenge Points if they successfully avenge the Undead that the Host resurrected, and those Revenge Points can be used to make transactions in one of the System's features, namely the "System Store".
"You can save that information for later when I need it. What's more important now is that I have to calm this undead woman down, so tell me how!" Ronan restrained himself from yelling at the System, which was babbling incoherently in this emergency situation.
[The System understands. The Host only needs to give orders to the Undead by calling their name, and the targeted Undead will automatically obey. The System will open the information feature on the resurrected Undead. If the Undead does not have a name, the Host can choose to give the Undead a name.
Ronan quickly checked the feature described by the System. Now, when Ronan looked at the female Undead, a transparent screen appeared containing brief information about her.
[Name: Lysandra Veyenne
Rank: The Vengeful Spirit (High Ranking Undead)
Revenge Plot: ???]
"Lysandra, calm down!" Ronan quickly ordered Lysandra not to get carried away and roar out the anger pent up inside her.
Like a powerful spell, Lysandra blinked several times, and her red eyes began to return to their normal brownish-black color.
Feeling that Lysandra was beginning to listen to him, Ronan breathed a sigh of relief. Since Ronan still needed to resurrect seven other corpses, he told Lysandra to move away from the row of corpses that were still lying stiffly.
"Go to one of my other Undead, Lysandra. I have to do something to these corpses." Ronan again ordered Lysandra to move away from where she was standing.
However, instead of moving, Lysandra remained standing there with a look that Ronan found difficult to interpret. Just as confused about what to do, Ronan chose to check the summary of information about Lysandra again.
There was a small exclamation mark in the corner of the transparent screen displaying Lysandra's information. Curious, Ronan decided to press the icon to see what was written there.
[Warning: This Undead requires high affection from the Host in order to listen to the Host's commands]
Ronan was stunned when he saw the warning. He didn't expect to have to give affection to the Undead he had just resurrected. To be honest, after finding this out, Ronan became even more suspicious of Lysandra's true identity.
Hesitantly, Ronan reached out his hand towards Lysandra's face and gently stroked her cheek, forcing a smile.
"Lysandra, can you go there for a moment?" Ronan repeated his words, seeing if his command now had an effect on Lysandra.
"If that is your command, Your Majesty, no I mean Master." Lysandra rubbed her cheek against Ronan's hand briefly before moving away from Ronan.
For a moment, Ronan felt a shiver run through his body, but he tried to hide it. Ronan quickly shook his head and refocused on resurrecting the row of corpses in front of him.
One by one, Ronan began to resurrect the corpses. Everything went smoothly, with no special incidents like what had happened to Lysandra earlier. However, Ronan could only resurrect five corpses at this time because the other four were in very poor condition and had already decomposed, so he couldn't resurrect them.
"I see that there are still several tombs around this place.
It would be a shame if I didn't take advantage of those graves for my own benefit," said Ronan, thinking that he had to increase his level as much as possible by digging up graves while he was still here.
"Hey, you!" Ronan intended to call the first Undead he resurrected, but he didn't know its name, and when he checked its information, the Undead had no name.
Even though Ronan didn't call its name, the first Undead understood and walked towards Ronan. But, unexpectedly, not only did the first Undead come towards him, but Lysandra also appeared.
"Do you have any orders for me, Master?" The first Undead stood obediently, waiting patiently for Ronan's orders.
"It seems I have to give you a name to make it easier for me to call you." Ronan rubbed his chin as he thought about what name he should give his first Undead.
"I will gladly accept your generosity, Master." The Undead bowed his head respectfully.
"Then from now on, your name is Cain." After thinking for a long time, Ronan finally decided on a name for the Undead.
A reddish-black light floated out of Ronan's body and slowly enveloped Cain's body, until finally the reddish light completely entered Cain's body.
Ronan felt nothing in his body, but he could tell that Cain felt something after he gave him a name.
"Master, give me a name too!" Lysandra, who had been isolated at Ronan's side, began to speak to Ronan in a demanding tone.
