World Compendium: A Guide to the Novel's World
This chapter serves as a reference for the world of the story. It consolidates knowledge gradually revealed within the narrative. Minor spoilers are included.
1. The Planet's Core and Energy
At the heart of the planet lies the Cursed Core, a colossal dark-violet sphere brimming with Fallen Force, a raw energy capable of destroying the planet. To contain this immense power, the Soul Core, a rounded outer layer, purifies most of the Fallen Force, converting it into Soul Force—a small, stable, and positive energy.
Soul Force rises to the planet's surface, where it can be absorbed by certain mortals known as Chosen Ones, fueling the growth of their Soulfire.
2. Chosen Ones and the Soulfire
Awakening Soul – The first category of Chosen Ones. Their hearts emit a faint white spark, signaling a nascent connection to Soul Force.
Soulfire Growth:
With training and concentration, the spark expands into a white light flame.
Awakening the Wind Tier (mandatory) transforms the flame into white with swirling wind patterns.
Subsequent tiers alter the flame's appearance according to the element:
Water Tier: Deep blue streaks
Flame Tier: Fiery orange core
Secondary Tiers (Nova): Lightning, Sand, Scent, Snow, Gas, Magma, Wood, Earth, Sunlight—each adding unique colors and patterns corresponding to the element.
Rules of Tier Progression:
Wind Tier is mandatory for all Chosen Ones; it can influence other elements.
Top 3 Basic Tiers (Wind + two others) must be trained for foundational elemental skill.
Secondary/Nova Tiers are permanent specializations chosen after Wind.
No one can fully master all tiers; learning a tier means mastering its basics.
3. Tier System Overview
Primary Tier: Wind – foundation of all elemental manipulation.
Other Top 3 Basic Tiers: Must be trained after Wind.
Secondary (Nova) Tiers: Lightning, Sand, Scent, Snow, Gas, Magma, Wood, Earth, Sunlight.
Progression Principle: Heart Flame growth and elemental mastery are gradual; opportunities to learn additional tiers depend on training, chance, and circumstances.
4. Predators and the Diama Hierarchy
Predators corrupted by Fallen Force are classified by eye color, indicating strength and corruption.
10-Tier Predator System:
Tier Name Eye Color Description
1)Corrupted Diama White eye Color. Weakest; minor corruption; ordinary wild animals.
2)Feral Diama Pale Yellow eye Color. Slightly stronger; more aggressive, minor strategic awareness.
3)Savage Diama Green eye Color. Mid-tier; cunning, coordinated; moderate corruption.
4)Huntress Diama Sky Blue eye Color .Agile and adaptive; stronger instincts and resilience.
5)Vigilant Diama Indigo Elite; unique abilities or mutations; high corruption.
6)Predator Diama Purple eye Color .Dangerous; offensive/defensive mastery; feared by low-tier Chosen Ones.
7)Raging Diama Amber Near-apex; massive strength and intelligence; intimidating aura.
8)Infernal Diama Crimson .Extremely dangerous; destructive, resilient, aggressive.
9)Blazing Diama Flaming Red-Orange .Penultimate predator; almost unstoppable; legendary threat.
10)Diama Red Flamy Apex predator; fully corrupted; immense destructive power; ultimate challenge.
Eye color progression reflects increasing corruption and danger, while the Diama at the apex embodies the full destructive potential of Cursed core.
5. Key Principles
Wind is the foundation: All Awakening Souls begin with Wind Tier.
Soulfire requires balance: Excessive use drains the user; Soul Force replenishes it.
Specialization and limitation: Secondary tiers provide individuality but restrict potential.
Predator danger: The more corrupted the predator, the greater the challenge to mortals and Chosen Ones alike.
This chapter consolidates the essential knowledge of energy systems, tier progression, and predator hierarchy, giving readers a clear understanding of the stakes and mechanics in the world.
