"leave grand pa alone!!"ryuuto said as he threw a stone to hit the toku.
Iso tenka almost had an heart attack " get out of here!! fool!" he yelled but that wasnt going to happen.
"because of you,some villagers escaped - but your grandson will make up for it!"the toku said
"no please let ryuuto go!!"Iso yelled as he manged to sit up.
immediately she flicked the fan to Iso's direction and in a second his head flew off. it was neatly cut off, blood spewing every where.
ryuuto gasped,his heart clenched up .
"grand pa!!!" ryuuto yelled at the top of his lungs
Ryuuto fell to his knees and realized he was no longer in the ruins of his home. Around him stretched a vast, endless emptiness, a void where neither sky nor earth existed. He could still hear his heartbeat, loud and uneven, echoing against the nothing. His fists clenched, nails digging into his palms as rage and sorrow twisted inside him.
And then—softly, from somewhere deep within, he heard her voice. His mother's lullaby. The same song she used to sing when he cried at night, words that once felt like comfort but now struck him like thunder:
"Let your emotion be your weapon…"
The emptiness shivered. His tears turned hot, shimmering into golden sparks. His sorrow burned, his rage roared, his love for his family clawed its way to the surface. The void answered back.
For the first time, he felt something new coursing through his body—Kannen energy.
It wasn't strength born from muscle, nor was it borrowed from gods or spirits. It was his grief, his fury, his unbroken will. His emotions sharpened into a blade of light, carving through the darkness. The void cracked open, and Ryuuto rose with fire in his eyes, the boy who had lost everything becoming the man who would give humanity a weapon against the Toku.
From that night forward, he vowed never again to run. Never again to let sorrow turn into helplessness. His emotions would become his greatest strength—and thus the first spark of Kannen was born.
