The House of King traces its lineage back over 600 years, to the late 14th century, during a turbulent period in British history when the crown was on the verge of collapse due to internal wars and foreign threats.
At that time, a loyal nobleman named Sir Alaric of Wynthorne, a military general and strategist, rose to prominence by protecting the monarchy from a coup. When the reigning king and his heirs were assassinated in a midnight siege, Sir Alaric refused to let the crown fall into enemy hands.
With the support of parliament and the blessing of the church, Sir Alaric temporarily took command of the monarchy to stabilize the realm. Though he never crowned himself king. As a reward, the reinstated monarchy created a new royal noble house in his honor, 'The House of King.'
Thus, 'King' became the noble surname, a title earned by valor, not birthright.
The House of King is now considered the secondary royal bloodline—not the direct line of succession to the throne, but a crown-sanctioned royal family with titles, lands, and diplomatic authority.
