Theodore's POV
This celebration meant more than welcoming my newborn children into the world.
Tonight marked the end of an ancient terror. For the first time in countless generations, the Mistwood bloodline stood free from the curse that had claimed every woman who carried our heirs. The weight that had pressed against my chest for years had finally lifted. I could look at Seraphine without that gnawing fear that she would be taken from me.
The evening air buzzed with pure elation as the full moon dominated the night sky. Its silver light bathed our territory's main clearing where the pack had gathered. Roaring fires cast dancing shadows across faces filled with genuine happiness. Tables groaned under the weight of fresh game, seasoned root vegetables, ripe fruits, and thick loaves of bread still warm from the ovens. Colorful lanterns swayed from every available tree branch while music drifted from the speakers scattered throughout the area.
