Eight years had passed since we lost Dalia. Eight long years of sleepless nights, cold leads, and shattered hopes. Every sunrise brought the same desperate prayer, every sunset the same crushing disappointment. After Herbert fell, our trail went completely cold, as if our daughter had simply vanished from existence.
The search consumed us both. While Theodore poured himself into leading the pack and raising Darius, he never abandoned our mission.
