Dalia's POV
The next day brought nothing but confusion as I rushed toward the beach volleyball practice area. My heart pounded with each step as I questioned whether I was making another mistake. The practice field stretched across a spacious section of the campus park, just minutes from the main buildings. An expansive patch of grass bordered a sandy court, with uneven patches that would challenge any player's balance. The net stood tall and imposing, dividing the space where my potential teammates were already warming up.
Their laughter echoed through the air as they tossed balls back and forth with practiced ease. Several benches lined one side of the court where team members gathered, some sprawled casually on the grass while others focused intently on their stretching routines. The scene looked welcoming from a distance, but my stomach churned with nervous energy.
