What is fear? Is it simply an emotion that arises when harm has already touched us, or when it looms just ahead? Or could it be something deeper—a warning whispered by the mind about dangers that await?
In this vast world, every living being feels fear. Humans, animals, birds, even the smallest insects—most are bound by it. Perhaps there exists a creature that never knows fear, but if so, it remains hidden from our sight. One thing is certain: fear lives in every creature that breathes. Children tremble before their parents or teachers; students shudder at the thought of exams. If there were a being that no longer feels fear, it would mean that life itself is slipping away—that capacity lost like the dodo birds, who paid extinction as the price for their courage unarmed by caution.
Fear is the fragile thread that holds us to life—yet sometimes it tightens into chains that trap our very spirit.
Some rare souls manage to pass beyond fear, glimpsing something greater on the other side. But most remain prisoners to it, unable to break free.
Among those bound by fear, there are three kinds of people:
The first admits their fear but never dares to overcome it.
The second hides their fear, burying it deep within.
The third knows fear intimately and confronts it again and again, despite countless failures. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose.
This is the story of one such soul—one who chooses to face fear head-on, learning from every victory and defeat. Through him, we come to understand that true courage lies not in escaping fear, but in standing firm against it, time and time again.
