"What is the problem?" Tian Ren asked upon sensing her hesitation.
"Bigger you say, probably a dragon!"
Tian Ren repeated, realizing why she was hesitating, but then he asked, "So whatever you found inside, it's at the same place as the dragon-like creature?"
He still believes that the thing inside can't be a dragon as from his knowledge, the dragons do not exist in this world, it's like they just vanished with the heaven itself.
Tian Ren thought, 'Searching further is a safer option but not efficient, while looking at the thing which is near that creature is riskier but time-saving.'
Celeste answered, since she can read his thoughts,
Not surprised by this, Tian Ren made up his mind, "A journey of the cultivator was always filled with uncertainty and risk. I want to take that risk."
Celeste didn't question Tian Ren's decision. She knew that if he cowers now from the uncertain risk, then his further journey won't be easy. But since he wasn't just a normal human but the reincarnation of the Immortal emperor, she knew that he'll take a risk, instead of backing off.
Tian Ren sped towards the direction where Celeste pointed, and the number of worms in the air, as well as on the desert ground became normal.
He just kept avoiding them and moved towards the location as the sand worms became more normal, and suddenly he understood, "Are we heading towards the nest of sand worms?"
"Since avoiding them might be difficult." He spoke and a sword, made up of meteorite metal with a long, blue, slim light in the middle from its hilt to the tip of the sword materialize in his hand.
Tian Ren swung the sword which was giving a familiar but still a foreign feeling. "This thing is way different than the spirit swords from the nine-heavens."
Celeste answered after scanning the sword in Tian Ren's hand.
Tian Ren agreed as he stopped at the solid ground, from where he can see a dark underground tunnel, which felt more like a crater.
With the sword tightly clenched in his hand, he spoke, "Whoever came up with the idea of using the chaotic Qi, and saving millions of lives of people in this world, he has my respect, but right now we should focus on this."
Saying so he gave himself a free fall as there was no way to step down in the underground.
Just then as he thought, a sand worm came crawling his way.
Tian Ren slashed the sword sideways as a blue ray of chaotic Qi, like a projectile of light, flew towards the big mouth of the sand worm and sliced it in half as Tian Ren passed through the slicing body of the sand worm.
"Oh, come here." he used psychic control or Qi manipulation and caught the chaotic crystal from the sand worm's body.
Celeste commented, seeing how Tian Ren, even in such a serious situation has his focus on the things which others might ignore in such conditions.
"I can sell them in the open market, once I'll be back at the Grantier city. With enough chaotic crystals, we are basically rich here."
"Yes, I moved to that place because it has so many people and it's one of the biggest open markets, where we can literally sell anything, or buy whatever we want, even a spaceship, which I want for a very long time."
Tian Ren spoke, thinking about how soon he can go back to the Grantier city.
Just as they were conversing, Tian Ren had killed seven to eight sand worms who were crawling upwards to the surface, making one thing clear to Tian Ren.
"There indeed is a nest here and that big thing inside must be the mother worm."
He said. Just then a heavy wind blew from down, sending Tian Ren to collapse on the side walls.
He somehow embraced the impact, plunging his sword on the wall. "What is this?"
A drenched, scorching breath, like a hot wind, blew towards him as the mutated variant of the sand worm flew in the sky, but it didn't sense Tian Ren and went past him, into the skies.
He thought for a second to slice his sword towards the flying worm but then decided against it.
Celeste also suggested the same to him,
"I was thinking the same." Tian Ren answered.
He removed his sword and fell once again in the deep abyss. But after that big flying sand worm, he didn't encounter the second flying worm again.
while deep inside which was 16 miles down, it took him an hour and a few minutes, while killing thirty-something worms until he first time sensed the ground.
But instead of a plain ground, he saw many big holes in one side while a bigger giant single hole in one corner.
"Those sand worms are crawling from those holes, that means the one which can fly, came from this giant hole." he muttered, balanced himself on the air and softly landed between the small holes and a big one.
"What do you mean, it isn't in a condition to crawl out right now?" Tian Ren asked after listening what Celeste just said.
