During the time Tian Ren came to this place with Gon Zee and his group, he was the one who was handling the extraction of chaotic crystals from the sand worms that they hunted.
If not for the mutated ones who suddenly attacked them from the sky with overwhelming numbers with their dragon-like bodies, then they would still be hunting the sand worms while Tian Ren would be doing the same work.
But because of the earlier incident, they left him with all the crystals they got after killing the sand worms.
"Okay, so let's start from here."
He took out one crystal first and asked, "How much distance can you cover with one crystal?"
"Woah! so I need to absorb them all." He took out a few more crystals and began absorbing.
A few minutes later, Celeste spoke.
Tian Ren's cultivation kept rising and reached the peak of the chaotic Qi awakening realm, but just when it was about to rise further, Celeste saw the opportunity to scan the part of the planet to find something which could help Tian Ren to contact the outside world or any medium that could help him get out of this dead planet.
"Do that." Tian Ren agreed.
A powerful ripple swept from his body, but only he could feel it. It was like a shock-wave, or simply a wave to find the desired target.
After a while, Celeste spoke.
"Aah, so now we have to move past 20 miles. Which direction should we go then?" He asked, leaving Celeste to decide the way.
Tian Ren laughed in a wry tone, "So you want me to go where there are those monstrous worms, are you sure about this?"
She answered with a single word, letting Tian Ren know that she was sure about it.
"If you say so."
He helplessly smiled as he felt it's best to believe in her than aimlessly roam in this dead planet.
Tian Ren began running. "Celeste, now that I have the absolute core dantian, is it possible to use the cultivation techniques from the nine heavens?"
He asked this because, here the cultivation techniques were tweaked in a way that it could integrate with cores for absorbing the chaotic Qi, though he believed he could do that, but he still decided to ask.
Tian Ren gulped when he heard of a heart demon, as for death, it wasn't new to him.
The heart-demon was something that even immortals like him feared, because having a heart demon meant the end of your cultivation journey, since hardly anyone can get rid of the heart demon.
However, it wasn't the case for him. "Then we should speed up," he said, using a movement technique of a higher grade, "Thousands Steps in One," he muttered.
Suddenly the chaotic Qi swirled around him and his thousands steps turned into one.
Celeste spoke,
"I have used this technique my entire life, so I'm still disappointed because of the limit of my body, otherwise, I would have covered this whole planet in a step if I was at my peak."
He felt disappointment as his weak body isn't able to use the higher level than the thousand steps in one movement technique.
"I would have truly lost if I couldn't even achieve a thousand steps in my first try, but now let's move quickly."
Suddenly his speed increased, covering thousands of steps in one. Leaving a blurry image behind, every time he moved towards his next step.
It didn't even took more than a few minutes, before Tian Ren passed 20 miles, and stopped only to see a shadow looming over his head.
"Damn, this thing can rival a dragon only if we compare their size."
He raised his head to see a flying sand worm with a draconic size sensed Tian Ren's aura and with its slow speed but heavy aura used its ability to suck Tian Ren and everything around towards him.
"Crap! I don't think I'm his match. I'm moving to a safe location first."
He cursed and used his movement technique before he, with a tornado of sand, would be sucked inside the belly of the flying sand worm.
Celeste spoke, as she thought of the dragons from Tian Ren's memories from his previous life, but she couldn't find anything like sand worms in Tian Ren's memories.
"Sand worms also exist in nine heaven too but I have only heard about them once, never visited that place, but I'm 100% sure that they aren't even close to these ones."
He said after stopping at a safe place where he didn't sense Sand worms near him.
Celeste began, as soon as Tian Ren absorbed enough of the chaotic Qi inside his core, he even again took out a few of the crystals to fasten the process.
"Here we go again." Tian Ren stored back the leftover crystals back at the spatial storage which was his belt, then again moved, searching for a way back to his home.
Hours later, when he crossed over thousands of miles and stopped for the next scan, he sighed, "This is the core of the planet, if nothing is here, then we are doomed."
Celeste spoke but there was a hesitation in her voice.
"There is something! where?"
Tian Ren asked, his eyes lit with hearing good news after a long search.
