HARPER
I woke up to a dull ache between my legs and a sore body. A slight smile spread across my face, recalling what happened last night and in the early hours of this morning.
We'd literally christened every part of the room. I never knew I had that much stamina or that much interest in things like this, until Dominic. Groaning, I stretched out my arms, patting the spot where he had slept… or at least, where he should be. But it was empty and cold to my touch.
Slowly, I peeled open my eyes, wincing as bright light spilled into them. I squinted, letting them adjust to the brightness. When they did, I stared at the bed. It was rumpled. I couldn't tell if it was from me twisting and turning too much, or maybe Dominic had actually slept here and just left before I woke up.
