HARPER
A WEEK LATER
It was becoming increasingly complex to stay in the same space as Dominic. Don't get me wrong—his house was still a haven for me. And, for now, my name didn't make any headlines. The news of my marriage hadn't surfaced either. It was as if the entire media had gone quiet. Or maybe I'd finally become irrelevant. Meanwhile, Owen and Camilla continued to make headlines.
Not that I cared, they were still making headlines because, to be honest, they always had. But back to Dominic.
Some mornings, he walked out of his room in just his briefs. Nothing else. Giving me an up-close, personal view of his strong thighs, defined abs, and broad chest that made my fingers itch to reach out. And, well, my imagination didn't help. It ran wild, wondering what it'd be like if he stripped down completely in front of me.
Don't ask me how my thoughts even went that way.
