The mycelium cocoon hanging from the ceiling cracked open, and a Puki fell out, bouncing twice upon hitting the ground.
"Why did I end up suspended in mid-air?" Number Four muttered as he got up, then immediately started shouting in the Fungal Network, "Mushroom Lord, Mushroom Lord!"
"Oh, Number Four, you're alive."
"Mushroom Lord, what do you think, wasn't it cool? My super big self-destruction!" Number Four said as he raised his tentacles, striking a cool pose as if he were self-destructing. "When you self-destruct, you can't feel anything, but it should be cool, right?"
"Very cool, truly a work of art," Lin Jun objectively acknowledged.
"Heh heh!" Number Four, pleased with the compliment, stretched and contracted his body, making the entire mushroom jiggle like a piece of elastic gummy candy, nearly jumping in joy.
After basking in his own glory for a while, Number Four continued, "Mushroom Lord, where's the Memory Crystal? I want to see it!"
"There isn't one."
