"What do you mean he wants to live under your roof now?" Damien's voice exploded through the speaker, sharp with disbelief and outrage. Even over the phone, Alex could almost picture his friend's wide-eyed expression and frantic pacing.
"Fine," Damien continued, his voice rising. "I said you could sleep with him if you wanted, seduce him, snatch him away from that monster he calls a husband but you haven't even done that yet! And for heaven's sake, Alex, he's still married! Not divorced! You're about to put yourself in the middle of a scandal that'll blow up right in your face."
