Chapter 250 - Chapter 250: Not Sure If It's Creuset But He's Really Good at Hiding

In the Enhanced human laboratories of the Atlantic Federation and Eurasian Federation.

A series of selected Enhanced human test subjects, including the Steroid Trio.

Had been conditioned from body to soul by those wicked researchers, such as giving hope only to personally snuff it out.

This was even a common occurrence.

Any Enhanced human test subject who truly placed their hope in those inhuman researchers.

Would have long since had grass growing over their graves by now.

If not for the East Asian Federation's relatively good reputation, and the current situation being a hopeless dead end.

The Steroid Trio wouldn't have placed any hope in the future at all, which was why they were treating their conversation with Wang Hu as a last resort.

Who would have thought that Wang Hu, who had just confidently promised to stand up for them.

Before they could even reach an agreement, would suddenly pilot his mobile suit and charge forward.

Immediately, Olga, the squad leader of the three-person team who had been seeking death all along, positioned himself in front of the other two.

"I knew these bastards couldn't be trusted!"

Cursing Wang Hu for being untrustworthy and comparing him to the beasts from the laboratory days.

Olga felt that the only thing he could do was probably die before the other two.

To avoid the pain of witnessing his comrades die before his eyes later.

Even though he had seen such things countless times during the Enhanced human experiments.

The Enhanced human laboratory researchers had always tried to erase everyone's emotions.

But humans are creatures whose emotions are precisely one of their most precious treasures.

How could they possibly be so easily discarded?

"Olga!"

Seeing Olga using his own body as a shield to block the enemy's attack, emotions and feelings broke free from their icy confinement under multiple factors.

They say that facing death, a person's words become kind. Though they usually fought and quarreled.

Since they could form a team and fight together, the bond between these three was actually very deep.

Clotho and Shani both shouted excitedly at Olga.

Then Clotho, who was the most impulsive among them, loudly pleaded with Wang Hu over the public communication channel.

"Spare Olga! We'll do anything you want!"

Didn't Wang Hu say before that the three of them still had value to be used?

Then they might as well exchange their abilities for the right to survive within the East Asian Army.

In Clotho's mind, the three of them had finally crawled out of hell. As long as they stayed together forever.

Maybe real hope would eventually come to them.

Even if there was no hope.

Being together was happiness enough for the three of them!

"Huh?"

Various thoughts raced through the anxious minds of the Steroid Trio. They had initially thought Wang Hu was toying with them.

And would then kill them, or at least show some reaction after they begged for mercy.

Who would have thought all three of them were completely wrong - Wang Hu never made a move against them at all.

Instead, he launched fierce attacks toward a certain area in space!

"Is he crazy?"

Watching Wang Hu relentlessly pouring firepower into what appeared to be an empty, vacant area.

Usually the most unruly yet first to plead for his comrades, Clotho.

He probably shifted topics with feigned composure to mask his embarrassment.

"Maybe?"

Having earlier stepped forward to take the heat, the blush still hadn't faded from his face.

One should know that Olga was also someone who cared about saving face.

To be frank, each of these three tough guys primarily embodied a tsundere persona.

So after Olga picked up Clotho's thread of conversation, he turned to Shani, who typically played the sickly cool guy role.

"Need help?"

Shani shot an annoyed glance at the two beside him and hefted his scythe.

While he didn't speak aloud, his thoughts ran:

What, the other side hasn't even agreed to give us an explanation yet.

Are you this eager to prove your worth to them already?

Or since you've both taken the plunge and shown personalities contradicting your usual exteriors,

you want to drag me down too and ruin my character as well?

Meanwhile, the three tough guys were inexplicably and habitually bickering over their internal comms.

Over on his end, Wang Hu neither knew what the three were doing nor could he spare attention for them anymore.

Because Wang Hu's focus had long shifted away from the trio - just moments ago when he was persuading them, he'd been on the verge of success.

He was about to secure three Aces for the East Asian Army, adding building blocks to his military's strength when

suddenly a familiar electric tingle surged through Wang Hu's mind, a sensation both he and Mu had known intimately before.

"Creuset?"

Wang Hu's first reaction in the cockpit was to think of that guy.

"That shouldn't be possible."

Although ZAFT publicly claimed Creuset survived, as the one who'd dealt the final blow, Wang Hu had confidence in his skills.

Could a character like Creuset survive an explosion of that magnitude?

"Since when do villain bosses get that kind of treatment?"

Wang Hu was utterly perplexed.

After all, not everyone could be like Kira and Athrun.

The former, Kira, survived the Aegis Gundam's self-destruction, then completely unreasonably lived through the Freedom Gundam's nuclear explosion.

The latter, Athrun, was clearly and unmistakably stabbed through the chest by Shinn Asuka's Destiny Gundam.

Yet Athrun not only survived but was conveniently rescued onto the Archangel.

But they're protagonists! Protagonists!

They have plot armor!

Putting himself in their position, even Wang Hu himself couldn't guarantee he'd survive similar situations.

"What's really going on?"

Confusion aside, the electric sensation in his mind was unmistakable.

So after repeatedly verifying it several times, Wang Hu had no choice but to temporarily set aside the matter of the three tough guys.

Instead, he redirected his focus, relying on his Newtype intuition and the vague sensations in his mind,

to launch comprehensive area saturation fire toward the region where Creuset was likely hiding.

To force that guy out!

"Stop arguing already."

The three tough guys' bickering likely contained an element of finding amusement in hardship.

After quarreling for a while, Olga interrupted the other two, gesturing beside them.

"Someone's coming."

"Huh?"

"Oh?"

Hearing this, Clotho and Shani looked in the direction Olga was pointing.

Soon, the hurried figure of the Strike Gundam appeared in their line of sight.

Immediately, the two who were still combat-ready assumed battle stances, with Shani even pulling Olga behind him.

"Get to the back!"

"Don't be nervous."

Olga, who had been pulled to the rear, verbally reassured the two.

"They're not coming for us?"

Sure enough, as soon as Olga finished speaking, the Strike Gundam didn't even glance at them.

It flew right past the three of them.

"What is this?"

Clotho, who was not particularly big but had a fiery temper, watched the departing Strike Gundam with displeasure.

"Are we invisible now?"

"Don't rush, someone else is coming."

Hearing Clotho's complaint, Olga didn't know what expression to make.

He was exasperated by his comrade's ungrateful attitude.

But then the Freedom Gundam flew over, behaving exactly like the Strike Gundam.

It treated the three standing nearby as if they were nothing, even though the Freedom Gundam had been badly beaten by them earlier.

It simply flew away without a second glance, heading toward the Lightning Z Gundam.

"I!"

This time, Clotho couldn't hold back. He immediately picked up his chain mace with his relatively uninjured hand, ready to demand an explanation.

It made no sense. Does the East Asian Army want to persuade us to surrender or finish us off?

They should at least give a clear answer. Leaving us here ignored and unattended—

Don't they know our hearts are racing with anxiety, as if we're being tortured?

Tell me, what in this world is more agonizing than waiting for fate's final decision?

"I can give you a definite answer on behalf of the East Asian Army."

Fortunately, someone who could speak with authority finally appeared before the three.

After Li Chengzhi had thrown the Goddess of Love and wiped out the Atlantic Federation Army,

his anger had mostly subsided, and he certainly wasn't going to direct his remaining rage at Clotho and the others.

Glancing toward Wang Hu's location, Li Chengzhi led the three toward the approaching Zhu Long.

At the same time, Mu, piloting the Strike Gundam, also flew right up to Wang Hu.

"Is it Creuset?"

Shedding his usual frivolity, Mu frowned seriously and asked Wang Hu for confirmation.

With the overall situation now settled, he truly didn't want any additional complications.

Besides, wasn't Creuset dead?

"It's Mirage Colloid, but I can't pinpoint the exact location."

Wang Hu didn't answer Mu's question about Creuset, his expression grim.

For the first time in his life, he felt stumped.

Mirage Colloid—Wang Hu had encountered it before.

Nicol, piloting the Blitz Gundam, had shown off Mirage Colloid in front of Wang Hu several times.

But whenever Wang Hu needed to find him, it only took a matter of minutes.

"You can't find him either?"

The sensation Creuset gave him was so intense in his mind, Mu felt as if he could see the other man's mocking face.

But if even Wang Hu beside him couldn't locate the enemy, Mu knew he wouldn't fare any better.

Faced with the current problem, Mu found himself at a loss for a moment, unable to come up with any good solution.

"Brother Wang Hu, Colonel Mu."

After listening for a while, Kira thought it over. Although he didn't possess the same mysterious intuition about Creuset as Wang Hu and Mu did by his side, he felt that their inability to locate the possible Creuset hidden under Mirage Colloid must be due to insufficient firepower on their side!

As long as the firepower was strong enough, no problem would be unsolvable!

And if there was, couldn't they just deploy the Goddess of Love?

Even if this suspected Creuset was skilled at hiding, could he possibly survive several blasts from the Goddess of Love?

Hearing Kira's suggestion, Wang Hu and Mu deeply agreed with his reasoning.
