Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Aillia greatly aided me as she explained everything to me. I'm grateful for her. I swore I heard some giggling of joy.

Now it was time to ask Aillia to show me the major divinities I could become. With a polite, "Yes, my Lord," a blue screen appeared before me.

**Major Divinities**

**Carnage:** Thrive in anarchy, relish the destruction, and embrace the truest form of Chaos. For carnage is both order and disorder; none are spared, as it brings the greatest balance through destruction. Through ruin, there can be hope for anew; through despair, there will be those that rise to greater heights.

**Hunger:** There is no progress without hunger—the hunger for knowledge, the hunger for ambition, the hunger for strength, and so much more. For the need to satisfy this void in the spirit will awaken the secrets of the soul, mind, body, and destiny. Feeding the hunger will unlock greater things for those who know hunger shall never be satisfied; the need is always more.

**Oblivion:** Bring blight and an end to the Galaxy. All must return to nothingness, for that is the will of the masses—an end to sorrow, an end to tyranny and oppression, an end to pain, an end to all. Through the truest devastation shall all be equal, as death and destruction are the greatest salvation to all agony and despair. Embrace Oblivion, for all are the same, for all end, and the masses shall chant gratefully for this gift.

Three choices, or more like two since Oblivion is immediately out. I didn't want to become a crappy Malal 2.0—fuck that. Which leaves me with Carnage, the most chaotic choice, or Hunger, the most corruptive choice. I spent time looking at the screen until I finally made my choice... Carnage. I shall be the Chaos God of Carnage. With my choice clear and decisive, I felt the warp start to surge, bestowing me with something of a template to mold my new form as I heard Aillia congratulate me.

Thanking her, she asked if I wanted to see the lesser divinities I could choose from, which I confirmed. Another screen, longer than the last, appeared before my shadowy form as I read through this new list and decided what kind of Warp Entity I'll be from here on.

While reading the long list, a mix of useful and ridiculous divinities, one was actually "Laughing." That creep Eldar god of the Harlequins can have that shit. Aillia informed me of something great: I could choose up to five lesser divinities because I'm the new first Chaos God, so I have priority. Nice, which means I can become stronger, even feeding on some of their actions—perfect for him.

Reading the screen once again, I made my choices for my lesser divinities: Lust, Punishment, Darkness, Daemons, & Ruination. Once again, the warp bent around me, accepting me as its God.

As he started bending the warp to create his new body and form, for I am now a Chaos God, my laugh echoed across the immaterium void that is the Warp. Soon my kingdom, my legions, my future followers, my queens, and more shall join the Chaos God of Carnage.

The power that surged through me was incredible as the Warp welcomed its master. All I could do was laugh in joy as I heard Aillia speak to me.

"Congratulations, my Lord, on your ascension."

I chuckled as I thanked my lovely advisor for her congratulations. Now that I had power over reality and the immaterium, I could finally create an actual body and form for myself, as the whole shadow template was stale for me, especially as a new God, a Chaos God in 40k. But what to choose as my eternal form for my dark reign in this awesome grimdark world?

Then Aillia suggested that I search my memories from when I was mortal, which was a good idea. Thanking her, she responded, "Anything for my Lord." I really needed a name as well; "my Lord" would get old, especially when I started creating my daemons... and wives. I remembered I always had a fetish for a harem made of loyal demon women and girls, so it's on my to-do list.

Searching through my fractured memories of my human life, I saw all the time I spent on various miniatures, creating unique daemons, cultists, and Chaos Marines, including my unique Daemon Prince that led my chaos warband. I made him by merging miniatures from various tabletop games. I loved my Daemon Prince, creating a unique backstory of him being a half-neverborn spawned from a Dark Eldar mother and Slaaneshi Daemon father. I stopped my reminiscing as it was clear to me: I'd model myself after my Daemon Prince, with several customizations suitable for a Chaos God.

Bending the warp around me, I started the process of creating my body, forming a black cocoon that enveloped me as it began my recreation.

A massive black cocoon floated in the vastness of the multi-colored warp, beating like a pulse as the warp energies gathered and surged, hastening the rebirth of its first God.

Time, meaningless in the warp, still, it took some years for the black cocoon to start cracking as a massive black arm burst out with five massive razor-sharp, long claws stretching. From the back burst out giant black feather wings, both beautiful and malignant. Then another arm with more humanoid-like qualities, with the exception of the sharp claws. As the cocoon continued to crack and break, a massive burst of daemonic power was unleashed as the cocoon was utterly broken.

Floating there was the new Chaos God of Carnage in all his naked glory, deciding to take a unique form, stretching his limbs and new wings. He finally opened his new eyes, glowing with daemonic power until they dimmed, revealing their violet and red color. The Chaos God reached up to his dark purple and black hair, feeling it and finding the pair of sharp, forward-facing black horns. Then he inspected his massive daemonic left claw, the black claw reaching up to his elbow, as he desired. This is exactly what he wanted, taking parts of his Daemon Prince and some fallen angel-like aspects. He finished his base and primary form, resembling a pre-teen child to add to his beauty, malignance, wonder, lust, and desires.

Of course, there are things yet missing, but he'd create them later. Admiring his new body, he heard his lovely Aillia speak.

"My Lord, you are truly beautiful and magnificent."

He chuckled as he flew around, testing the wings. He commanded the system to once again show him the rewards he obtained moments ago, only for Aillia to politely interrupt and inform him that it had been 112 years in mortal space, which didn't shock him, knowing how the warp worked. He'd be surprised it had only taken moments for him to create his body.

Once again directing his attention to the screen, the Chaos God floated about the warp with the occasional flap of his wings.

He read the rewards, learning he now had another divinity over Authority, which must have been when he named and bestowed a title to Aillia, which she confirmed. He felt a curiosity, once grateful to his lovely advisor, which he received a shy-like squeak as a response. "Aww, my little Aillia is shy." I didn't receive any response, meaning she was.

Reading about my Authority Divinity, which made my commands and showing of authority actually divine, would prove useful when dealing with my future followers and worshipers, as well as when interacting with my future brothers and sisters Chaos Gods.

Then I read that my command over the Warp had grown as well. Great, that skill is invaluable, especially when the other gods start joining the conflict. Then I got the Free Absolute Creations I gained as rewards. Curious and not knowing what they were, I asked Aillia to explain.

"Of course, my Lord. Free Absolute Creations, or FACs, are a special reward for milestones being achieved, like your manipulation of the warp before becoming a Chaos God fully and ascending to actual godhood. In their purpose, they allow you to fully manipulate the warp regardless of your current mastery and power over it, allowing you to create anything you desire without limits and 100% success."

So shocked that all I could do as a response was whistle. These FACs are invaluable to me. I can instantly create my domain however I want and even make it harder for intruders/invaders to enter, instantly giving me an edge over my future siblings, rivals, and enemies. That will be my first use of my three Free Absolute Creations.
