For the first time since she'd walked downstairs, Athena fell silent.
Rhydric folded his arms against his chest, studying her carefully.
Eryx shifted closer, concern replacing the confusion that was once his face. "Princess..." His voice softened. "What actually happened up there?"
Athena looked between the three of them.
For a moment, she seemed to consider brushing it off again. Then she quietly set the spoon back onto the plate.
The small clink echoed through the kitchen before Athena turned toward Theo and lifted both arms slightly.
"Help me up."
