"Do you always come back after disappearing for weeks and act like nothing happened…" his eyes dropped briefly to her lips, then lifted back to hers. "…or is this just for me?"
A slow, faint smile formed on Athena's lips like she had been waiting for him to say something like that. "Careful," she smiled, almost amused.
Her fingers tightened slightly at the back of his neck, not shy at all, fully aware of every eye in the room but choosing to ignore them completely.
She tilted her head a little closer, her voice dropping just enough to match his tone.."I'm just sitting here. But if your heart is confused, that sounds like a you problem to me."
Rhydric's lips curled slightly at that. God, did she just make him fall in love with her all over again?
