The group walked out of the school, the sun beating down their skin. Leo kicked a small stone along the pavement. "So… who actually did the General subject homework last night?"
Felicia rolled her eyes. "Ugh, I tried, but the teacher made it impossible. I'm convinced half of it was just to see us suffer."
Levi laughed. "Finally, someone admits it. I spent like two hours staring at page three wondering if I was losing my mind."
Alaric smirked. "You weren't. Page three is a trap. I think the teacher just enjoys watching us squirm."
Armand, walking a few steps ahead, didn't say anything, but a small smile tugged at his lips.
Leo glanced back at him. "Armand, did you actually do it?"
Armand shrugged. "I skimmed it. Enough to pass."
Levi groaned. "Of course. Of course you did."
Felicia nudged Armand playfully. "You're ridiculous. Someone's got to keep the rest of us sane."
Armand shook his head as he stared at her face, chuckling softly. "Not my problem."
