Chapter 2 - Elf Tribe

After all, while Gu Xun could access creative mode and such, the physical mode wasn't in creative mode. I'll still die, but I don't know if I could resurrect like in Minecraft after death.

Gu Xun felt a bit afraid about this too. After all, people fear death, and Gu Xun was no exception. Though he knew he had traveled to this world, he also possessed a cheat code that defied the heavens.

But fear of death was innate; it needed to be overcome. Gu Xun immediately chose to turn back, taking a detour.

"That was a spirit beast. Shouldn't spirit beasts that spawn near my birthplace be ten or a hundred years old? This isn't right, is it?"

Gu Xun grumbled, then continued wandering. But he discovered with despair that the spirit beasts he encountered were either thousands or tens of thousands of years old.

This forced Gu Xun to linger only at the forest's edge, never daring to venture deeper. After all, if the outskirts housed thousand-year-old beasts, the interior promised even more terrifying creatures.

Wandering aimlessly, Gu Xun finally reached an area resembling a village. From afar, he spotted numerous bookstores built into the giant trees, their interiors filled with the lingering scent of fireworks.

"Finally, a person! All I've seen so far are damn spirit beasts. I've finally found a village!"

After running for hours, Gu Xun finally spotted the village and quickened his pace.

Soon, a seemingly bustling little village came into view. Gu Xun stepped inside and saw many pointed-eared creatures that closely resembled humans.

"Um... hello? Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Gu Xun wanted to ask where he was and proactively addressed a pink-haired, pointed-eared humanoid creature.

The elven girl was also watching Gu Xun, looking at him in surprise and saying:

"Human child? Child, have you come to tour Elf Planet?"

Elves cherished peace, so coexisting with spirit beasts rarely led to conflict. Most elves possessed pure, friendly natures by nature.

"Elf Planet? No, I'm lost."

"Lost? Where are your parents?"

"..."

Gu Xun fell silent. Had he traveled across worlds? Were his parents still back home?

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize."

The fairy girl immediately apologized with a guilty expression, as if she had realized something.

"Uh... it's fine. Could you tell me about this place?"

Gu Xun's eye twitched. He had no idea what misunderstanding this beautiful fairy girl had made, but he still asked about the surroundings.

"Sure. By the way, do you have somewhere to go? If not, why don't you come to my place?"

"Thanks."

Gu Xun followed the elf girl along the forest path as she began introducing the surroundings.

"My name is Yun Ni. What's yours?"

"Gu Xun."

"Little Gu Xun, this is the Elf Tribe of Elf Planet. Our elven race is led by the God-tier powerhouse, the Elf Queen."

"Oh, and that place across the way is called Spirit Beast Paradise. It belongs to our neighbors, the Soul Beast Clan, who migrated to our Elf Star thousands of years ago."

Yun Ni explained the Elf Tribe's situation to Gu Xun. Along the way, Gu Xun felt countless gazes fixed upon him.

The constant stares made Gu Xun somewhat uncomfortable, but he endured it and continued listening to Yunni's explanation.

The moment Gu Xun heard about the Spirit Beasts' migration, he instantly realized this was the timeline of Ultimate Fighting Douluo.

Upon learning this, a storm of emotions surged within Gu Xun. What? How did I end up here?

In this era, he'd have to face the legendary figures like Lan Xuanyu and Tang San's inner circle.

Oh, wait—I'm a legendary figure myself. That settles it. Gu Xun voiced his concern.

"So, someone like me—a stranger with no known origins—won't get arrested, right?"

"Ah? No worries. As long as you come to Elf Planet with good intentions, you're welcome here."

Gu Xun breathed a sigh of relief at the elven girl Yun Ni's response. She continued:

"By the way, little Gu Xun, do you know which planet your home is on?"

"Huh? No idea. All I remember is being knocked unconscious, then waking up here on Elf Planet."

Gu Xun wasn't lying. He truly had been knocked unconscious by the Great Fortune Divine Emperor and found himself here upon waking.

"Knocked unconscious? Then just left here?"

Yun Ni frowned at his answer. How absurd was that explanation?

But a child like Gu Xun probably wouldn't lie, right? She then said:

"Young Gu Xun, I sense spirit power within you. You've awakened your martial spirit, correct?"

"Mhm."

"Can you summon it for me? The martial soul is the quickest way to recognize kin."

Yun Ni intended to use Gu Xun's martial spirit information to help him find his way home. Gu Xun pondered for a moment, then raised his hand and summoned a blazing white spear.

A ring of yellow spirit rings also appeared. Yunni examined the spear in Gu Xun's hand closely.

"Qing Tian? Hold on, I'll record this. I'll report your situation later to help you find your way home."

"Thanks."

After putting away the spear, Gu Xun followed Yun Ni to a wooden hut nestled beneath the trees.
