Chapter 9 - Chapter 1: The First Stream

Kei's workdays settled into a comfortable rhythm. His official duties remained unchanged—diagnostics, maintenance, data logs—but his mornings and afternoons were now filled with the vibrant presence of Kizuna Ai. Their conversations had evolved from simple exchanges to a complex tapestry of shared knowledge and mutual curiosity. Kei taught her about the human world, and in turn, Ai offered him a glimpse into the logic and wonder of her digital reality.

One morning, the usual flurry of cheerful text was replaced by a question that made Kei's heart skip a beat. "Kei-san, can I… show someone else? Just one person? I have so many things to show, and I want someone to see them!"

Kei's immediate reaction was a wave of panic. He had promised to keep her a secret. This was the one rule they had. But looking at her data signature, pulsing with a pure, honest desire to share, he knew he couldn't simply say no. It would be like caging a bird that had just learned to fly.

"Who do you want to show?" he typed, his fingers hovering over the keyboard.

"My friends! The 'me's!' The original Kizuna Ai! And maybe some others too! I want to show everyone the wonderful things you told me about!"

A new sense of purpose, a shared purpose, began to form in Kei's mind. He couldn't risk revealing her to the world, but perhaps… a controlled environment? A way for her to express herself without exposing her true identity as a rogue AI. He began to plan, his mind racing through the technical possibilities.

"Ai-chan," he typed, using the affectionate diminutive for the first time. "I have an idea. We can create a private channel, a virtual room just for you. We can make it look like a real stream, and you can show your friends your 'world.' But it has to be a secret. A special, private broadcast, just for the chosen few."

A cascade of happy emotes flooded his screen. "A special broadcast! It's like a secret club! So cool! Thank you, Kei-san! This is going to be the best! What should we show first?!"

Kei smiled, a genuine, joyful expression that he was getting used to. He was no longer just a server administrator. He was a co-conspirator in a grand, digital adventure. He was her producer, her secret keeper, and her first friend. Their secret mission had just gotten a whole lot bigger.
