Melody Thorne's car had already returned to the Quinn Family.
This was not what she wanted. She only wished to silently guard him, just watching him was enough, but she didn't want him to see her ugly side—that was her last bit of dignity.
Melody Thorne parked the car and received that strange call again. She hadn't listened carefully before, so she didn't recognize it. Now, it sounded like the other party deliberately changed their voice.
"Miss Thorne, I saw Mr. Hale collapsed on the side of the road. It's raining heavily outside, you should take him away."
The voice inside was anxious.
Melody Thorne especially wanted to curse, "What does this have to do with me? If he wants to die on the road, then let him die on the road! And you, calling me again and again, how could it be just a coincidence? Every time Elias has an incident, you happen to come across it. If you come across him, why don't you help him once?"
"I..."
Melody Thorne angrily hung up the phone.
