Jean Gage stared at her serious expression, paused for a moment, and actually believed her a little.
But her hands forcefully tugged at Melody Thorne's clothes, and the other girls began to lay hands on Melody as well.
"Stop it, don't fight," Ivy walked over to them, pretending to break it up with her hands.
"Ivy, help me, help me," Melody Thorne cast a pleading look at her, "Please tell them, three days ago I was with you at Radiant Bar, I didn't steal their things."
"Yes, yes, she didn't steal anything," Ivy replied without thinking, assuming it was just Jean Gage and her gang's excuse to teach Melody a lesson, not giving it much thought.
"I'm telling the truth," Melody Thorne sneered and continued, "That day, Ivy asked me to entertain a commercial investor, but the investor found me too dim-witted, so I waited outside the bar for her all night. I really didn't steal your things; Ivy can testify."
