"I have to attend the final competition this Sunday." Vivian sent him a laughing, hands-on-hips emoji and said, "So I can't tutor you. After the competition, I can tutor you both Saturday and Sunday next week."
Ethan looked at her message and sent her a row of ellipses, finally giving in and saying, "Okay, good luck."
"Mhm!" Vivian sent a cute little bear emoji and then urged him, "Hurry up and go to school already, stop looking at your phone, or you'll be late."
"Okay." Ethan sighed softly in his heart. After replying to Vivian, he put his phone in his pocket and went to school.
