Seeing his expression of disdain, Summer Shawcross paused. Just as she was about to sigh and say she'd forget about it, the man suddenly pressed his lips together and spoke.
"I'll take this."
The vendor glanced at the fairy wand in Noah Drexler's hand and then cheerfully said to him.
"This fairy wand is thirty. Are you buying it for your daughter, sir? Little girls have been really into this lately."
Daughter? Little girls?
Upon hearing the vendor's words, Noah Drexler first furrowed his brows, glanced at Summer beside him, then narrowed his eyes and slowly curved his thin lips into a smile.
"Yes." He moved his throat, suddenly admitting it, a nuanced smile appearing on his handsome face.
To him, she was indeed still a little girl!
After saying this, he took out his wallet from his pocket and handed a bill to the vendor.
"No need for change."
"Thank you, sir!"
