Across every battlefield of Dressrosa, chaos raged.
Those who failed to finish their opponents swiftly were immediately robbed of the kill by Rain of Blood – Shiryu, the murderous demon who delighted in slaughter.
Big Barrel Jot was locked in a fierce duel with Lao G, who had transformed into his Diōken Reinforced Form, his muscles bulging like living steel. Despite Jot's strength, the old man held firm — an irritatingly stubborn foe.
After cutting down the half–fishman Dellinger, Shiryu's crimson blade flashed again. His cold gaze locked onto the raging Lao G. Without hesitation, he charged forward, ignoring Big Barrel Jot entirely.
Steel met flesh — and blood danced through the air.
Jot didn't dare complain. As a former Level 6 prisoner of Impel Down, he knew exactly what kind of monster Shiryu was. If he interfered, he'd be next on that cursed blade.
High above, Buffalo, battered and bruised under Lafitte's sadistic beatings, broke down completely. Seeing every Donquixote officer crushed one after another, he burst into tears.
"I surrender! I give up! I'll join you, just don't kill me!"
At Baby 5's urging, the pathetic man finally surrendered. Perhaps following a familiar face was safer than dying for a lost cause.
Lafitte clicked his tongue but waved him off. There were still more targets to hunt.
Elsewhere, Machvise, the heavyset user of the Ton-Ton Fruit, was riddled with bullet holes, his massive frame trembling from poison. Between Van Augur's deadly precision and Doc Q's cursed viruses, he hadn't even touched their clothes before collapsing, defeated and captured.
Not far away, Karinette Dieme, the "Moon Hunter," noticed Shiryu interfering in other fights. Her eyes hardened.
She flared her aura and went straight for Jora, the Art-Art Fruit user.
She refused to be like Jot — lazy, content to drift.
If she wanted Souta Kiryuu's acknowledgment, she had to prove herself. Souta despised betrayal — and weakness.
Slacking off was as good as a death sentence in the Kiryuu Pirates. Strength was abundant here; even the Seraphim alone could pressure veterans like her.
Jora didn't last ten minutes before Karinette's blade dropped her, her blood splattering across the marble tiles.
Before long, the last of Doflamingo's core officers began to fall.
Lao G, the Donquixote Family's most seasoned martial artist — a man once strong enough to defeat the aged Chinjao, wielder of all three types of Haki and worth 500 million berries in his prime — collapsed under Shiryu's relentless assault, covered in horrifying sword wounds.
With every officer's defeat, the situation for Pica and Diamante grew dire.
Senor Pink was still taunting Jesus Burgess and Edrago with his swimming ability, laughing even as the ground around him exploded.
Meanwhile, Bartolomeo faced off against Gladius in a brutal clash that left both men bleeding.
For the first time, Bartolomeo realized his Barrier-Barrier Fruit wasn't as invincible as he thought. There were gaps — vulnerabilities.
He gritted his teeth. The New World's true elites were on another level, and he was still a rookie who hadn't even conquered the Grand Line. His path was far from over.
As Gladius' body began to inflate dangerously, ready to self-destruct, Bartolomeo's eyes burned with resolve.
"You're strong... but I won't lose!"
He slammed his palms together.
"Tribute to the Dragon God — Great Barrier Cannon!"
His barrier transformed into a colossal dragon's head, roaring as it charged forward.
The collision shook the entire city. A deafening explosion tore through the ground.
When the dust finally cleared, Bartolomeo stood tall amidst the rubble, his barrier cracked but unbroken. At his feet lay Gladius — unconscious, eyes rolled back.
"I am Bartolomeo... of the Kiryuu Pirates!"
Tears streamed down his face as he raised his hands in triumph, laughing wildly. It didn't matter if there were reporters or not — today, he had fought as one of Souta Kiryuu's men.
In the Colosseum, Trafalgar Law's cold fury burned.
"My target is Doflamingo himself! I won't waste another second here!"
His fingers twitched.
"ROOM — Island Split!"
A massive transparent field expanded from his hand, covering half the island. A flash of blinding light — and Diamante's eyes widened in disbelief.
His sword, his steel cloak, even his body — all cleaved cleanly in two.
Law, fighting at full strength, possessed the power to cut Vergo's Haki-hardened body and even bisect Punk Hazard's entire research base.
Compared to Vergo, Diamante was nothing. His overreliance on his Flutter-Flutter Fruit and his steel cloak had sealed his fate.
As Diamante's corpse hit the ground, Cyrus and Rebecca wept — the murderer of Scarlet had finally fallen.
"When his Devil Fruit is stripped away, his life is yours to claim," Law said quietly, sheathing Kikoku.
Without another word, he sprinted toward the underground factory — he wasn't about to miss Doflamingo's downfall.
He leapt into the passage Bullet had blasted open, disappearing into the depths.
Behind him, Cyrus and Rebecca restrained their vengeance, hauling Diamante's broken body back to be judged by the Kiryuu Pirates.
Above, another crimson slash tore through the sky — Shiryu again.
After cutting down Dellinger and Lao G, his blade now sought a new target: Pica, the Stone Giant.
One swing.
A massive arm of solid rock crashed to the ground.
Even Pica froze in fear — that killing intent was monstrous.
Seeing his comrades fall one after another, Pica knew the battle was lost.
He retreated immediately, sinking into the Stone Giant's body.
"Senor! Move! We're finding Doffy!"
Senor Pink obeyed at once, diving underground to follow.
"They're running!"
Avalo Pizarro, the Island Giant, cursed but dared not block Shiryu, whose eyes still glowed crimson.
"Open a passage. Now."
Sheathing his blade, Shiryu turned to Pizarro, his tone icy.
Pizarro grumbled but complied, manipulating the island itself to open a massive tunnel toward the underground factory.
"Keep clearing the trash."
Leaving that cold command behind, Shiryu transformed into a hawk and dove into the tunnel.
Meanwhile, deep below in the Underground Factory, the final battle raged.
Enel's thunder clashed endlessly with Doflamingo's strings, the air trembling under their power.
And though Enel shouted for him to stay out of it — Douglas Bullet's fists were already flying.
The fight exploded into chaos, just as it had against the Golden Lion Shiki and Akainu Sakazuki.
When Law arrived through the blasted tunnel, Pica and Senor Pink burst from the ground near him.
"Doffy! Run!"
Pica's shrill voice echoed as he manipulated the walls, tearing open new escape routes for his desperate leader.
But in the face of Souta Kiryuu's onslaught — escape was no longer possible.
