After splashing some cold water on her face, she felt a little better. South Grant turned around and said:
"It's nothing, just that it's too hot."
Nathan Foster crossed his arms, casting a glance at South Grant upon hearing her words.
"Half of autumn is already over, and you're telling me the weather is too hot?"
Who says it has to be the weather that's hot? Can't my heart be burning hot?
South certainly couldn't say that, just like she couldn't let Nathan know she'd had a steamy dream, else he'd definitely laugh at her.
"You know it's autumn, yet you're dressed so cool. Are you trying to seduce me?"
South looked at his bare upper body, the muscles strong and well-defined, and couldn't help but gulp. Nathan noticed her little gesture.
He reached out, leaning over the sink counter, and as South saw him approaching, she thought he was going to do something. She stepped back, losing control, cornered by Nathan at the sink.
