Hearing Jensen Sterling's words, Clark Jacobs finally came alive and interjected with a smile, "Bringing sister-in-law out instantly overshadows everything."
Upon hearing this, Jensen curled the corners of his lips slightly, perhaps he himself didn't even notice.
Their seating position was a bit secluded, plus there was music playing in the room, so people seated farther away couldn't hear what they were saying no matter how they strained their ears.
Over at the other side sat a few girls who came just because they heard Jensen Sterling would be there.
One of the girls was nudged with an elbow by another, lifted her chin slightly in a gesture, and whispered, "Go on, haven't you liked him for a long time? This is such a great opportunity."
"But... he doesn't seem to like my type," the girl said hesitantly.
"How would you know if you don't try? You're not bad looking, and you're just going to meet him."
