" Voom, voom, voooooom "
The sound of a moving car was heard. A black Mercedes suddenly stopped at the side of the road. It was almost midnight and there was eerie silence in the vicinity. But once in a while, the creepy sound of owls would be heard. With the exception of the black Mercedes, there was no vehicle in the vicinity. After about 7 seconds, the two front door of the black Mercedes were opened. Two figures shortly emerged, a lady and a gentleman. The man had casual top and a black jacket along with matching pant. He had a carefree but evil aura. Despite been in the dark, his handsome face couldn't be masked. The lady couldn't be left out, she also had a casual white dress making her look innocent and pure. Her beauty was not also to be trifled with, bur she carry a domineering aura and a cold face that made people shiver instinctively. She glanced coldly at the guy and said indifferently
" is this some kind of joke you, you don't think I'm here to play right ?"
Diego threw his head back and laughed sarcastically saying
" Are you really serious Princess?"
His expression changed suddenly and he said " follow me "
He said nothing more and went into the woods. Erica also followed him quietly. Diego better not be playing tricks on her, she thought or she would surely kill him today. She had been waiting for half of her life for this day. She just hope everything will go according to plan and she would be able to meet the Demon- Vampire king. Once she meets him, she would present her tempting offer and the king would surely agree. That way she can go in peace. She only have 2 days remaining on this land. After the two days, she would have to go to her kingdom together with her two sisters. If she fails this mission, the king wouldn't spare her. Just as she was lost in thought, she heard Diego's annoying voice.
" hey princess, watch where you are going. We are here . What were you thinking"
Erica snapped out of her daze gave him a cold shoulder. She looked at the old building in front of her. Diego, quietly led her in. Once they entered, Erica didn't expect the insides of the room to be so lively. Also, there were people inside not just ordinary people, they were all Vampire-Demons. Just then, they heard a mocking voice
" Ha, Diego I thought you were bringing in an Elarion princess, what is this you've brought"
Diego sighed, Jack was clearly courting his death. Erica on the other hand felt her blood boil but kept her calm. She humbly introduced herself
" I'm Erica Linlin Von Heist. Second princess of the Elarion kingdom, you are "
Jack laughed sarcastically and said
" you expect me to believe that shit. I am also the Demon-Vampire king "
Erica frowned hard and said nevertheless
" I am here to meet the Demon-Vampire king"
" Are you deaf miss, can't you here what I said. You are already meeting me."
Then he turned to Diego and said
" I'm disappointed in you. "
Afterwards, he turned to his men and said, get them out of here.
Some men walked slowly towards them, Diego watched the the scene as if he were a normal spectator. But what happened next shocked everyone. They were suddenly screaming and the men were now in fire, with the fire burning them. Jack stared at Erica in shock knowing she did that. It seems that girl is truly, the rumoured powerful second princess of Elarion. Nevertheless he said angrily
" you, do you think you are powerful, I think Diego hasn't told you but never forget that we Demon-Vampire's never gets burn, we were born out of fire.
As if on cue, right after he was done saying that,the screaming stopped and the fire begun to be consumed by their bodies. The men looked at her with killing intent. It was as if they weren't the once in a pool of fire not long ago. All this while, Diego watched with interest, he wanted to know how Erica was going to defeat them. The men suddenly charged at her with superhuman speed, but before they could get anywhere closer to her, she said with a feighed expression, as if she just remembered something
" oh, forgot about that "
Then she leisurely flickered her fingers and the everyone was surprised to see knives stabbed in the spines if the men. They fell down and gradually disintegrated. Everything happened so fast that it was difficult to believe it. Diego smirked, slightly astonished. Erica then said innocently to Jack
" Do you know believe me, or should I give you some more show "
Jack was slightly terrified, her powers shocked him. It was not easy at all to kill a Demon-Vampire, and this girl easily killed them without moving. Only a fool at this point would still believe she is not the rumoured powerful princess. He sat down on a chair leisurely and said
" well princess, you caught me off guard. Did well in concealing that aura. Now tell me why you are here to see me."
Erica frowned again and said stubbornly
" it is not you I want to see, I want to meet the king "
Jack stared at her with interest and said
" Very few people has met the king. You probably haven't seen him before, so how are you so sure I'm not that person "
Erica smirked devilishly and said with indifference
" Well as far as I know, the Demon-Vampire king is not weak and would not be afraid of a mere lady like me unlike you "
She deliberately said that. Jack felt anger surge in his heart but he simply shrugged it off and said
" Well you seem to know our King's personality. You're right about one thing, I am not him but, he is not someone any Billy can meet. You can tell me your message and I'll deliver it to him."
Erica became outraged and said
" Tell that damn king of yours to grab his butt and meet Mr before I go if he us a man. You all are unbelievable "
With that she turned sharply not waiting for Diego and walked away. Most of the Demon-Vampire's around were upset with what she said. They wanted to teach her a lesson but she was suddenly emmiting a deadly and oppressive aura that made it impossible to get near her. It was only Diego who was smiling. Jack saw his expression and reprimanded him
" fool, she just insulted our king and you are there smiling. Talk some sense into that lady's head before she get herself killed "
He looked at him meaningfully. Diego said nothing, only smirked and followed Erica.
Once they were in the car, Erica asked impatiently
" Diego, tell me what you know about the Demon-Vampire king "
Diego shrugged and said as-a-matter-of-factor
" There is nothing I know about him. Only rumours. It is said that the king went into seclusion decades ago. Only the old generation had seen him and none of the current generation have seen him before. Plus he is very powerful "
Erica almost screamed in anger
" why are you now telling me this "
Diego answered innocently
" Hey princess, you never asked. Besides i heard Jack was a close friendif the king so i thought hemightknow where he is but you saw the result "
Erica felt her blood boil. She had an uncomfortable feeling in her heart. She would be going soon but still can't finish one job her dad gave her. She had been searching for this mysterious king for over 5 years but to avail. As ahe was lost in her thoughts, she heard Diego's annoying voice
" But hey princess, I thought you couldn't use your powers. "
Without looking at him she answered
" I got a helping hand "
" who "
" That's none of your your business "
Not fazed by her indifference, Diego continued
" Well, that person must love you, taking that risk is touching "
Erica pondered over his words for sometime and asked herself
" love. Does he even care about me "
