When his soul was split a huge amount of soul power was released in the form of human qi which was so vast that it covered the nearby mountains and affected the weather, but since everyone near him were mortals so he didn't care about anyone noticing anything.

The split soul went to the place where the baby soul was residing and finally felt a connection with this body as well as his original soul.

There was a huge mountain range which was filled with red stones, there were 3 main mountain peaks with huge flat land on top, where huge building were built from wood and stones, as for vegetation, there was almost nothing, it was barren, the mountain range was filled with red stones which was why it was called Chi Yan mountain, ruled by Chi Shan clan for thousands of years, below the mountain was the valley and a lot of caves mouth could be seen, around the caves was many small houses but they were very bad looking in comparison to the houses on the 3 plateau, these houses were an eye sore, these houses were of the servants who work for the clan, the mountain was large in area but not in height so these servants daily climb the mountain to serv their masters, there was also a large house with many slaves living like life stocks, they get minimum food and all of them were starving, this was a contrast between the humans on the top of mountain and those living in the valley, why do these servants even serve the clan if they have to live in such bad conditions? It is to insure their safety, the world was a harsh place, if they live in a secluded place and if a beast comes near them, they gonna get devoured by it. As for the slaves, they were even more pitiful, they were the servants who used to work in other clans but their masters whom they served either died in a fight against beasts or they lost to Chi Shan clan. Chi Shan clan was not a clan who loved wars but it was their masters fault to provoke the Chi Shan clan, since they don't fight, they must be weak? That's what their masters thought and provoked this clan.
The only thing common between the servants and slaves was that they were all mortals, this world is ruled by qi masters, people who can use the power of qi stones, although there are also those who are known as qi immortals but because of their vast strength they don't care what is going on in the mortal world and they have made a silent agreement which all the super powers to not interfere in the mortal clan, to make a balance of things neither can they harm these mortals nor can they save them from calamities, all they do is to observe them.
In the valley, inside a small hut was a woman lying down, she had a huge belly, she was pregnant. Her face had only skin and bone, she was very hungry, although not starving, she was not that beautiful, just a normal mortal woman in her late twenties. Her name was Mei Lan. She was the mother of Lei Tian in this world, there was also a help lady who was helping her give birth to her children.
Soon She finally gave birth to two boys and was holding them, they were not crying but looking around curiously.

This was already a very big compensation given by the clan, this was because the crime of the elder was very brutal and he indeed used his authority but was that it?
