"Wang Lai," Zixuan called out as he noticed his hand hovering over the car lock.
"You've known me longer than you've known him."
"Zixuan… I mean, Mr. Chen," Yuhan said softly, turning toward him, guilt flickering in his eyes.
"Why don't we just take public transport instead? There's a bus stop just ahead."
The magic worked instantly.
Before Yuhan could even finish speaking, Zixuan's hardened gaze softened. The tension drained from his shoulders as if a switch had been flipped.
"Alright," he said without hesitation.
Zixuan stepped out of the car, but by the time he turned, Yuhan was already got off the car and was already by the roadside.
"Don't stress yourself like that," Zixuan said to yuhan as Wang Lai drove off to look for Li Hao.
"I'm fine," Yuhan replied, bouncing lightly on his feet to prove it.
