Carmine's POV
I still don't grasp what's wrong with those boys, I'm stumped. First and foremost, they both raced out of the classroom the instant I walked in, which I couldn't comprehend.
They are being impolite by leaving when someone is being introduced. I didn't take it seriously because they had to go quickly for something essential. But I don't really care.
After our principal, Mr. Nat, had departed, I properly introduced myself. I was led to my seat, where I remained until they both returned to class.
One could tell those youngsters weren't serious since it didn't take them more than five minutes to return from wherever they had gone.
They didn't even care that there was a teacher in the class or that the principal had asked to see them.
After the class, I was preparing to go for my lunch break when one of them came to ask for my name and why I got transferred into the school so late. It's none of his business but since he had taken the step to ask me personally, I felt the need to tell him.
I introduced myself, but just as I was about to explain why I had been transferred to Mustar High School late, he bolted when he saw his friend leave. They both appeared to be psychos, people with mental illnesses.
I walked out of class before they returned with their crazy attitude. I don't think I want to be around those two, especially on the first day of school. Despite the fact that they were both attractive, especially the crazy one running up and down, I do not want to get involved with a psycho.
I stood for a while as I observed the hall where the students had their lunch. The whole place was full of students eating and gisting, some students were even playing. I spotted an empty table, the entire table was empty so why not use that table instead?
One reason I don't like being transferred from school to school was because of this adjustment. How do I start making new friends again? Not like I really want them but I'll need them. As the saying goes, 'No man is an island' so I need someone to help me through my last year in high school at a new school.
Mom and dad just keep believing whatever they were told. Because they were told that my destiny and light pointed in the direction of New York, they made sure to move down here to New York. My light is wherever I want it to be and I loved where I was. I wanted to remain there!
Now I have to make new friends to survive, deal with those two weirdos, and also try as much as possible to hide my identity. Crazy right?
Walking down to where the food was being served, I served my food one after the other before walking over to that empty table to sit. I was so happy that no one was at the table because I wasn't ready to make friends just yet.
What's your name? Where are you from? Is your father wealthy or are you on scholarship? Yen yen yen... Stupid, stupid stupid questions.
The worst part of the whole issue is the fact that the students' eyes never left me. Their eyes follow me like a hawk. Right now, they are staring.
The ones that look out of curiosity are different from the ones that look to undress you. It's really crazy but the eyes staring at me right now can cause me to fall from my chair. Like, I'm not used to being the center of attraction especially when I'm new to the school
I didn't look back at any of them but focused on my food. I was eating and minding my business when I heard a loud bang on the table making my heart skip.
My eyes widened as I swiftly raised my head to find five girls standing in front of me. I almost rolled my eyes when I noticed who they might be
They were dressed beautifully and sexually too. They all had their thighs and cleavages opened.
'You see why school uniforms are important?' I sighed dejectedly.
The female bullies in the school, I actually thought the male would come first since I am a beauty.
Well, joke apart, this was the first school I'm being transferred to that the female came with a problem before the male. Interesting, I must say.
"How may I help you?" I asked with my head up looking each of them in the eyes. 'Little children'
"You are on our seat, princess," one of the girls said to me. I frowned before turning to look at the chair carefully.
Oh, no wonder the entire table was empty. But I'm not going to give them that easily now, will I?
The last time I tried avoiding trouble, trouble came looking for me so it's only better to give it to them before they even plan to give it to you.
The chair was a white clean chair, there was nothing special or different about it from the rest of the chairs.
"I can't find a name written on it. How is it yours?" I asked the girl. The one in the middle who I assume to be the leader frowns deeper.
She is skinny and shiny too. Her body, clothes, and attitude smelt of money. I could tell by just looking that she was daddy's little princess, a pampered brat.
Her eyes darkened as she screamed at top of her lung
"Get the hell out of my position!" Her voice was so loud and tiny, I couldn't help but close my ears with my hands. So many people did the same thing as well
Does this girl think that by screaming, I would easily leave the seat? No, that's not Carmine Alfred at all.
Everyone had paused to watch the drama. I can't blame them, it's not every day you see someone challenge the bullies in the school but I do that with every school I go to. I make sure to challenge each and every one of them.
They should come down back to earth to see that they are just human as well and that no one deserves to be bullied. I don't plan to stand up for whoever this girl was, so I smiled at her and said
"Make me"
Everyone in the hall gasped but I rolled my eyes. I really wanted to see what the little rat could do.
She was shook and surprised, she became speechless. She stared like a dumb person, one of the girls by her left, approached me more closely
"How dare you?! Who do you think you are to challenge us" she spoke whilst giving a stern look like she could slap me
Without blinking nor hesitation, I continued with my meal, turning deaf to what she had just said,
Their leader was still in great shock like she had just woken up from a coma after 3years.
"Girls! Let's go, let's not waste our time dealing with this looser!" She said shakily and walked shamefully past me.
