After giving his family the incredible gift of wealth, Asher woke up the next morning in an unusually cheerful mood. Today, he decided, he would fully embrace his role as a "big brother" and spend the day with his little sister.
"Seol-ah, do you want to go to the mall?" Asher asked, noticing his sister sitting cross-legged in front of the TV, engrossed in a cartoon.
Her eyes sparkled. "Really, brother!?"
"Of course… is there anything special you want?"
"I want a big teddy bear!" Seol-ah replied excitedly.
Asher smiled warmly. "You got it."
After breakfast, they headed straight to the largest department store in Seoul. Normally, trips like this were rare for their family—but now money was no longer a problem.
At the toy section, Seol-ah bounced around with pure joy, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the enormous teddy bear she had been dreaming about.
"This one?" Asher asked, pointing at a towering brown teddy bear displayed near the shop entrance.
Seol-ah's smile widened, and she nodded vigorously. "Yes!"
Asher immediately purchased the bear. Seol-ah hugged it tightly, almost as if she never wanted to let go. Her beaming face made Asher's heart feel strangely warm, an unfamiliar but pleasant sensation for the Creator God inhabiting this body.
After strolling through the mall and enjoying the outing, Asher remembered another task he wanted to accomplish. Quietly, he activated his system once more.
"System… search for a new house."
Ding!
A holographic interface appeared, displaying a map filled with luxurious homes in the desired area.
"Seol-ah… want to see a new house?" Asher asked his sister.
She looked up at him, puzzled. "A new house?"
"Yes… a big one where we can live comfortably," he explained.
He called a taxi and directed it to the first house on his list from the system. Seol-ah looked at him, curious, but asked nothing.
Soon, they arrived at a magnificent mansion, imposing and elegant. Asher led his sister inside silently, inspecting every corner with his usual indifferent gaze. To him, a house was just a place to stay—but to Seol-ah, it felt like a castle straight out of a fairy tale.
"Wow… this house is amazing, brother!" she exclaimed with wide-eyed delight.
Asher smiled softly. "Do you like it?"
"Yes!"
He toured several more houses in the same district with her, and each time, Seol-ah's excitement and joy were completely uncontained.
Finally, Asher chose the house she liked the most. He instructed the system to transfer the funds and complete the purchase instantly.
Within seconds, a notification confirmed the transaction: Purchase Complete.
"All right… tomorrow we'll move our stuff here," Asher told Seol-ah, who was still staring at the house in awe.
"Really, brother!?" she asked, her eyes brimming with happiness and surprise.
"Really," Asher said with a smile. "I want all of us to be happy."
The joy he gave his family filled Asher's heart with a satisfaction he had never known before—a simple, human happiness that even a Creator God could appreciate.
