'Ugh? What happened?'
I tried to look around me, but I couldn't see anything. No, it wasn't that I couldn't see but there was nothing. I seemed to be floating in a void.
'How did I end up here?'
"It's simple. You died"
'What! Who's there!? Wait, did you say I died?'
"That is correct. I said you died and as to who I am. Well you could just call me a god"
'Your a god!? Why did you bring me here? Where is here?'
While my thoughts started to spiral, I started to think back about my past. I tried to recall anything, but my memories were hazy. All I could remember about myself was my name being Lucious and seeing everything go black before ending up here, other than that I could only remember fragments of random things.
"Now to answer your first few questions, I really am a god. And as to where you are and why I brought you here. This is the void, a place outside existence and I brought you here because I'm bored. Before you ask, yes gods get bored and why this has to do with you is I'm going to reincarnate you. One way I found to relieve my boredom is to reincarnate someone, toss them into a random world, and see what they do."
'Wait I'm really getting reincarnated!'
"Yup and as a thank you and to make it more fun I'm granting you a few gifts. The first is one wish, the second is 3 abilities of your choice, and the third is the ability to pick your own race. Now that that's out of the way let's get started"
'O-ok. then how about we start with my race so I don't waste the other gifts on something that my race could already do.'
Once I finished speaking, a list containing millions of races appeared before me. I quickly asked them to shorten the list to just the top 100 and started searching. After a while I managed to bring my options down to three.

[Description: A kitsune which has been infused with the power of the void. This has granted them various void based abilities and the power to traverse the void relatively safely. The nature of their existence has made them one of the only races with the ability to wield the power of the void while not being rejected by the world.]
[Lifespan: 500-10,000,000 (will become limitless once becoming a god)]
[Traits: child of the void, accepted by the world, unique existence, user of void, shapeshifter, playful, cold, beloved by darkness, favored by magic, exponential growth, trickster, cunning, aversion of spirits, super strength, beastly senses]

[Race: world tree dryad]
[Description: A dryad possessing the power of a world tree. They are very rare and only born when a world tree goes through a rare mutation which transforms their body into that of a humanoid form. Because of their status as a world tree they are loved by the world, elves, and spirits.]
[Lifespan: 100,000-100,000,000 (will become limitless once becoming a god)]
[Traits: child of the world, loved by spirits, embodiment of nature, favored by magic, beloved by light, creator of elves, mother of life, caring, motherly, hated by the abyss, pillar of the world]

'All these races sound powerful. Are you sure you can't tell me what the traits do?'
"Sadly I can't do that. I have to balance this out somehow."
'*sigh* Alright. Anyway, what should I pick? Sinful ruler sounds like a powerful warrior race. The concerning part is it sounds like I will be hunted down so I probably shouldn't pick it. Void kitsune sounds pretty good. It seems to be balanced but favors magic. Since the void is something outside existence it should grant powerful abilities. Then there's finally the world tree dryad. They seem like the support type, or a leader. They also seem to be the opposite of the sinful ruler which would make me the enemy of the abyss. It has its benefits but I would be targeted.'
'Which should I pick?'
'I'll pick the void kitsune since it seems like a safe choice.'
'Now I should go onto skills.'
After moving onto my skills, I asked the god to remove all useless, and repeated skills and only leave the strongest version. Once that was done the list only had a bit over 5,000 skills. After that it took me a few hours until finally I got it down to the three skills I want the most.

'These skills definitely sound powerful. How could they not when they have an ultimate rank and have authority in its name. Now what do I want my wish to be? How about a reincarnator classic. God guy can you grant me a system to record my stats'
"First don't call me 'god guy' and second the world you will be going to have something similar to a system so are you sure?"
'Never mind then. Can I ask if you're giving me a body or am I being reborn?'
"You will be completely reborn"
'Ok then can you give me a rich and loving family which is also powerful?'
"Sure thing. Now that you have completed everything, let's reincarnate you finally."
With that being said my body suddenly bursted into light and I was no longer in the void.
