Chapter 2 - Chapter two: Abrum's POV

The night smelled of iron and smoke--- something in the air that whispered danger... lycan's king and queen were on high alert and the whole lycan's fortress was ready to fight the rivals, one of the guards came to the king and said "we can see the sentinels are approaching on horseback" the lycan's king and queen were already to fight them, they have their 15 years old son with them "Abrum" though he was only fifteen but his eyes was fierce with fire, thirsting for their blood... they had their 6 years old daughter name "Abyra" as she was a kid, she can't transform into a wolf yet, so they keep her hidden into a little cage... As the clouds parted, the blood moon bled through the sky and foes sentinels drew near towards the lycan's fortress and unfortunately they stormed through the gates, weapons gleaming in their hands, outnumbering the lycan king's guard two to one... As they attacked the guards came falling and they went inside the main door coming across, the lycan's king,queen and Abrum stood ready, claws poised to tear into their foes and there they started the war, but since it was a blood moon that day, they appeared weak and their foes know their weakness very well, they uses emberfire to weaken them even more, they throw it on Abrum but his father the lycan's king came Infront to save his son and became the target, he got severely injured nearly died, along with lycan's queen became weak as he was her mate and now only Abrum is left with the minimum strength to fight them, while he's here fighting with some of them with all his might, some sentinels found the cage where they keep their Abyra, she was scared and fragile like a poor deer running from it's death!! how they find this hidden cage? one of their servants became a woe of betrayal and this is how they found their six year old daughter and they seized an arrow through her heart, as Abrum rushed to save his sister, all he found was her weak, fragile body lying before him... When he returned to his mother, she was taking her last breaths, as she said to him "Don't ever blame yourself for not being from one of us, you're different my child and know that I will always walk beside you in spirit, you have to lead this! you have to tell them who you are! be so strong that they forget who you were!! even when the world turns against you, don't let the beast consume the boy I raised!! you're more than fangs and fury... never forget that!!! now go run away, and come back as a nightmare for them!! as she said this and closed her eyes forever, leaving the little boy frightened for life....
