Referee No.1: 10 seconds left!
Oli: Wonder what you will do.
Todor: How about just checking it.
Referee No.1: We have got the results of the 3rd round!
Chosen numbers:
Oli: 3
Todor: 1
Winner: Oli
Todor loses: 1 Sanguis
Oli: 9 Sanguis
Todor: 6 Sanguis
Referee No.1: The 4th round starts now!
Oli: Slowly killing yourself? I see. This is why you wanted to bring out this side of me? To keep playing the same way as before?
Todor: By the way I knew he would switch to your alter ego. He can do this on command right? That as well is just an act.
Oli: Like, of course you notice. No one else did, but you. The only one who found out, you really are very sharp.
Todor: You're telling me?
Oli: Also, now that you are in an irreversible drawback, I can reveal everything to you.
Todor's hand flinches
Oli: I hope I don't destroy your inner world, but I know what you are planning to do.
Todor: Do you?
Oli: I do, and it won't work even though it's very impressive. Well, you are the perfect perfectionist, aren't you?
Todor: I don't care about your small talk.
Oli: Okay, okay I got it, but you seem a little stressed Todor. I'm not used to this.
Todor: You're just going to stall, aren't you?
Oli: Me? I would never.
Referee No.1: 10 seconds left!
Oli: Seems like we don't have much time left
Todor: . . .
Referee No.1: We have got the results of the 4th round!
Chosen numbers:
Oli: 3
Todor: 1
Winner: Oli
Todor loses: 1 Sanguis
Oli: 9 Sanguis
Todor: 5 Sanguis
Referee No.1: The 5th round starts now!
Oli: A 1 again? Hah, you really hoped that your plan would work, but...
Todor: But what?
Oli: I know what you are thinking, that in the rules, it was not mentioned that getting to 0 or lower sanguis would cause the game to end, but they never stated that it also means the one who gets to that point will lose. So logically speaking, it could also mean that the one getting there first will actually win instead.
Todor: Yeah, you're right about that.
Oli: You made a big assumption though. Which is being that I don't know what "sanguis" means.
Todor: So... You know?
Oli: I know sanguis means blood in latin, which means it's only logical that you lose if you run out of it, just like in real life, if you bleed out, you die.
Todor: So you also knew that.
Oli: I have figured it out all. Want me to tell you? You lost already anyway.
Todor: Sure, don't hold back.
Oli: So you thought that maybe playing ones consistently, I might start thinking about if getting to 0 sanguis actually means winning instead of losing. After that, You hoped I would play the numbers either 1 or 2 consistently, trying to not to let you getting to 0 sanguis before me.
Todor: Wrong.
Oli: Oh, am I?
Todor: This is just what I wanted you to think, but my plan is more complex than this.
Oli: Haha! You are the crazy one here! Yeah, I know, I just didn't want to tell you I know everything, I don't want to scare you too much. But the fact that you would admit it just like that.
Todor: That plan is also ruined, isn't it? No reason to keep it a secret.
Oli: Please tell me then, you sure can better since it's you coming up with the plan.
Referee No.1: 10 seconds left!
Todor: After this round I will.
Oli: Sure, I understand.
Referee No.1: We have got the results of the 5th round!
Chosen numbers:
Oli: 3
Todor: 2
Winner: Oli
Todor loses: 2 Sanguis
Oli: 9 Sanguis
Todor: 3 Sanguis
Referee No.1: The 6th round starts now!
Todor: Before I do tell you, I want you to tell 1 information about it, just to make sure you actually have an idea about it before I tell you.
Oli points at the tablet Todor is holding
Oli: That Tablet is not yours. You stole that from the referee.
Referee No.1: WAIT! Is it true? That's why I didn't find it? THAT'S WHY I WAS LATE!
Todor: No need to worry, referee, it was not against the rules.
Oli: So then, explain your plan.
Todor: So my actual tablet is in my room and its battery discharged before the game even started. The rules stated exactly like this:
"Let's say you don't pick a number because your tablet battery has drained. Then every choice of that player in that game becomes random starting from that turn your tablet battery drained and you didn't pick a number."
Todor: What this means is that this rule comes into play if your tablet is discharged and you don't pick a number. It is never stated that you can't pick a number from another tablet than yours. Also, every pick of mine would have got randomised once I don't select a number from any tablet. Doesn't matter if my actual tablet is charged or not as long as it's not my actual tablet I can also select numbers from this one. Since I calculated my tablet to discharge in my room after the first round, every of my actions would have been randomised except what I have picked in the 1st round, even those that I already decided before, because of the wording of the rule, and these kinds of wordings are always intentional.
Oli: So you really would have just trust in getting a good RNG?
Todor: Call me crazy as much as you want. I don't care.
Oli: You still don't want to accept reality, right?
Referee No.1: 10 seconds left!
Todor: What do you mean?
Oli: I know there is no trick behind this of what you said. You are done for.
Referee No.1: We have got the results of the 6th round!
Chosen numbers:
Oli: 3
Todor: 2
Winner: Oli
Todor loses: 2 Sanguis
Oli: 9 Sanguis
Todor: 1 Sanguis
Referee No.1: The 7th round starts now!
Todor stays silent for a few seconds, his stressing seems to fade away completely.
Todor: Then why do you think I chose 2 in the last 2 rounds?
Oli: Maybe you want to end it sooner but don't want to give up? That would look pathetic, isn't it?
Todor: Well then, let me tell you. The plan I just explained is just what I wanted you to know, to find out about.
Oli: What are you implying?
Todor: What I'm saying is that... You are right in my trap right from the beginning, and you aren't noticing a thing.
