CHAPTER FOUR
"Darling, how was work?" Doctor Mrs. Stones asked as she helped in assisting him remove his jacket as soon as he entered into the mansion.
The house's manager collected Doctor Stones's bag and waited for Doctor Mrs. Stones to hand him Doctor Stones's Jacket.
"Work wasn't fun since, Jacob did something disturbing" Doctor Stones replied as he walked away from his wife after the jacket has been removed. He unbuttoned the button in his sleeved shirt and went for his tie to remove it.
"Jacob?" Doctor Mrs. Stones asked as she handed her husband's jacket to the house's manager. "Fred, tell the cooks to bring in the food, my darling must be hungry" she said to the house's manager, Fred.
"There is no need, I am not hungry." Doctor Stones responded as he turned to face Fred
Fred gave a nod and walked away
"What happened? What did Jacob do?" Doctor Mrs. Stones asked confused as she walked towards her husband
"JACOB!!" Doctor. Stones called his son as he focused on the staircase leading to his room.
"What did he do?" Doctor Mrs. Stones asked again as he put her hand calmly on her husband's shoulder.
"He was part of the suspects that almost killed a student in school today." Doctor Stones answered as he climbed the staircase furiously
"Oh my goodness! Are you sure he is part?" Doctor Mrs. Stones asked as she climbed the staircase with her husband
"I don't know as well, that is why I want to confirm from him" Doctor Stones responded as he stood in front of his son's room and knocked on the door.
"Jacob!" he called as he continued to knock on the door.
"Jacob, please open the door. We just want to confirm something from you" Doctor Mrs. Stones said to the door, hoping Jacob hears.
There was no noise heard in the room so, Doctor Stones used his own key to open the door just to meet an unexpected sight
"Ahhhhhh!!!" Doctor Mrs. Stones screamed as she run towards her son.
Doctor Stones whom was standing by the door was stunned to move an inch away from the door.
"Jacob!" Doctor Mrs. Stones called as she carried her son's body, crying.
She started checking his pulse and everything possible to know if he is still okay.
Doctor Stones saw something shocking and walked towards it and picked up the bottle and showed his wife since she is a Doctor that studied medicine and surgery
She took the bottle and looked at it, "Oh my goodness, he drank poison. The poison will take eight hours or more than to kill his body. I have to treat him." she said as she stood up "Joshua! Come and assist my husband with my son!" she shouted outside, she was answered by a young muscular man running into the room to assist Doctor. Stones
"Let's take him to my hospital, I will treat him in my own ward." She said to her husband as soon as they all got outside the house.
She turned on the phone that has been with her all along and dialed her hospital's number.
As soon as they got to her hospital, the emergency doctors attended to them almost immediately.
Jacob was taken to his mom's special ward.
His mom started working on him while his hand waited outside as he couldn't apprehend everything that just happened and wanted to know what caused Jacob to want to kill himself, was he being threatened?
Minutes that feel like hours suddenly ended as Doctor Mrs. Stones came outside of the ward and went to the washing hand basin and washed her hands before, sitting beside her husband.
"Is he going to survive it?" Doctor. Stones asked her as he turned to face her with an exhausted expression.
She put her hand on her husband's lap and gave him an assuring smile "He is going to be fine, the poison hasn't started making a large effect, it just affected a side of him that made him unconscious. By tomorrow, he will be conscious" she said with an assuring explanation.
Doctor. Stones gave a sigh of relief and smiled "Thank Goodness!"
"Yeah, you have to rest and eat or your health will be affected" Doctor Mrs. Stones said to her husband as she signaled to Joshua whom has been standing by the door all along.
"Take him home!" she said to him
"You also have to rest well dear." Doctor Stones said to his wife before following Joshua.

As Joshua and Doctor Stones got into the car, Joshua started the car and drove out of the compound.
"Something seems to be wrong!" he said to Joshua
"I feel the same, sir." Joshua said to Doctor Stones as he remained focused on the road.
"Jacob got home which time?" he asked Joshua curiously
"An hour before you came in" Joshua answered immediately.
"Did he say anything about any incident to my wife?" he asked Joshua as he looked outside the window trying to understand what is really going on.
"I don't know, sir. I wasn't allowed to be with them when they spoke. All I know is that, they spoke briefly before Jacob walked to his room and locked himself"
"He didn't eat?"
"Fred asked him if he wanted to eat but, he answered that he had some goodies in his bag. Meaning, he is going to eat them for the night" Joshua answered
"Does my wife know?"
"Yes!"
"Do you think my wife knows about the incident?"
"I can't say sir. I just feel like she doesn't since, she acted all confused when you said it to her."
"That is what I thought as well."
