The Child of Destiny's fate was far too important. In Yosuke's search for the Priest Master contact was inevitable, so the Sage had no choice but to caution him.
Giving Yosuke chakra pathways was also for the purpose of enabling him to capture the Priest Master as soon as possible and leave this world, allowing its future to return to the proper course.

"Then I leave it to you. I hope you capture the Priest Master soon."
The Sage of Six Paths' body gradually turned transparent until it completely disappeared, and Yosuke left that strange space.
Deep beneath a pitch-black underground chamber in some unknown nation, two figures stood.
One was an androgynous figure wrapped in plant-like tendrils.
The other looked similar in appearance, yet also bore a resemblance to the Priest Master Yosuke was hunting—except this one had green hair, while the rest of his features were deathly pale.
These two were Zetsu, and the Priest Master whose soul now resided within a White Zetsu due to his destroyed physical body.
Zetsu asked the Priest Master,
"How is it? Are Obito and Nagato following instructions?"
The Priest Master let out a cold laugh.
"Those consumed by hatred are the easiest to manipulate. A little push is all it takes. Don't worry—Obito and Nagato have already taken control of the Fourth Mizukage. The entire Hidden Mist Village is under our influence now."
"Peace really is such a convenient excuse. Looks like everything is going according to plan. By the way… Priest Master,it seems that guy you mentioned has arrived in our world."
The Priest Master's expression turned sharp.
"Are you certain?"
"Almost positive. Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo just shifted from the Pure Land into the living world. And the person he contacted—his aura is very similar to yours."
The Priest Master gritted his teeth with fury.
"Ubuyashiki Yosuke… you really are like a cursed shadow that won't disappear!"
He never imagined that even after fleeing to another world, Yosuke would still pursue him.
Suppressing his rage, the Priest Master spoke to Zetsu:
"Don't forget what you promised me."
"Relax. You wanted a body capable of housing your soul and possessing great power, right? I've already chosen one for you—one that will absolutely satisfy you."
"Who?"
Zetsu answered:
"Konoha's rising star, the Fourth Hokage—the 'Yellow Flash' Namikaze Minato."
"Him?! With his Flying Thunder God Technique, are you sure you can manage it?"
Even at his peak, the Priest Master's Word-Spirit "Shun" could not match Minato's speed.
"Don't worry. Obito will handle Namikaze Minato."
"That boy? Are you joking? Even though Obito is now completely consumed by darkness, I doubt he has the resolve to kill his former teacher. And even if he did… facing Namikaze Minato, his chances are slim."

The Priest Master cast Zetsu a deep look.
"I'll assume it was just a failure on your part. But remember—we are partners. I help you conceal yourself from Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo's detection and assist you in achieving your goals. In return, you must help me. When this world, your so-called 'farm,' reaches its point of destruction… you will hand over what I want."
Zetsu replied with apparent sincerity,
"Rest assured. I will not forget our agreement."
