Chapter 209 - Xiling: Lemuen, You Should Repent!

207. Xiling: Lemuen, You Should Repent!

Some people are alive, but she is already dead.

Some people are dead, yet she lives on.

Exusiai didn't know who said those words, but at that moment, she felt the same way.

Shame, unbearable shame.

She's even already planning which area in Laterano to buy a burial plot for her.

The tombstone only needs to be inscribed with three words: Let me die.

Exusiai gripped the blanket tightly, burying her face even deeper. The moment she caught her older sister forcibly kissing her brother-in-law that morning, a wave of shame washed over her.

Although she usually acts like a tomboy, cheerful and optimistic, she is still a girl after all! She can be just as embarrassed as anyone else when it comes to things that should make her blush!

What made her wish she could disappear on the spot was that she had actually let out a soft moan and called out "brother-in-law"!

"I'm going to die! I'm going to die! I'm going to die! Sister, you can't play like this!" Exusiai cried out silently in her heart.

"Having a sister like you is truly a blessing for Exusiai." Finally recovering from his shock, Xiling turned his gaze to the culprit.

Meeting Xiling's wicked gaze and feeling her sister's almost tangible shame and indignation, Lemuen, the instigator, felt no remorse whatsoever.

After washing up, she jumped into bed with ease and pushed the tightly wrapped blanket around her sister:

"Lemuel, why are you still lying in bed?" Her tone was as innocent as if she were asking about the weather.

"Sis! How dare you say that!" Exusiai suddenly popped her head out, her cheeks flushed, and angrily accused, "How could you betray your little sister like that!"

"Okay, your brother-in-law won't mind," Lemuen said with a smile, trying to reassure her.

"I care!" Exusiai and Xiling roared out their inner thoughts almost simultaneously.

Their eyes met briefly, and Exusiai immediately buried her head heavily back into the blankets, as if it were her only refuge.

"Alright, alright, it was my fault," Lemuen said in a coaxing tone, "What kind of compensation do you want? I'll try my best to satisfy you, okay?"

"Sis! Stop treating me like a child!" Exusiai's muffled voice came from under the covers, filled with dissatisfaction.

"How could that be?" Lemuen's smile remained unchanged.

"If you don't accept the compensation, then I'll sincerely apologize to you, okay?" She put her hands together in an apologetic gesture.

"I don't feel any remorse from you, the older sister, at all!" Exusiai's eyes darted around, and suddenly she had an idea.

"But... if my older sister really wants to apologize, then... promise me one thing?"

"Okay." Lemuen nodded readily.

"I have a feeling there's a conspiracy... Can I go get some breakfast first?" Xiling sighed silently to himself, sensing that trouble was about to befall him.

"Sis, turn your back to me first," Exusiai requested.

Without a second thought, Lemuen turned around without any warning. In that instant, a sly, mischievous smile flashed across Exusiai's face.

Her subtle actions naturally didn't escape the notice of the two people present. But Lemuen showed no intention of resisting; instead, she smiled and looked at Xiling with interest. Xiling's eyes went dead: Fine, I've become part of your play.

The next second, Exusiai pounced on Lemuen! Amid Lemuen's deliberately exaggerated gasp, her hands retaliated by kneading her sister's soft breasts.

"Damn it! Why are yours so much bigger than mine, sis!" Exusiai grumbled, her face flushed with indignation as she kneaded them.

Through some strange empathy, she could clearly feel the touch coming from her fingertips. But this feeling was so different from that night…

Lemuen offered no resistance, appearing like a frail girl caught off guard. Under Xiling's almost rolling-eyes-rolling gaze, she let out a series of soft, startled exclamations: "Lemuel! What...what are you doing?!"

"Of course it's to get revenge on you, my older sister!" Exusiai squeezed her hands hard, kneading the soft mound into various shapes through the thin fabric.

The sisters' cheeks flushed red. If a hot-blooded man saw this scene, he would probably be overcome with lust and unable to control himself.

However... Xiling, who witnessed all of this, felt nothing at all and even wanted to laugh a little.

Even if it were two girls having sex, let alone two women getting intimate, he would probably just silently think to himself, "What is all this nonsense?"

"Speaking of which, would you say I've been bullied before?" Xiling thought to himself, feeling utterly bored. He then decided to find a place to lie low for a while and wait until the two sisters had finished their private matters before returning.

However, just as he was about to slip away, a voice froze him in place.

"Brother-in-law—help me!"

"Huh?" Xiling turned his head in confusion, pointing at himself.

"Seriously, ladies?! You guys really put me in the script as a recurring prop?!"

Xiling instinctively waved his hand to refuse, but Exusiai's next words struck his weak spot precisely: "Brother-in-law, my sister has teased you quite a bit, hasn't she? Haven't you... thought about getting revenge?"

Did Xiling ever think of taking revenge on Lemuen? Never.

Did Lemuen play a trick on Xiling? Xiling was lost in a brief recollection... Soon, the expression on his face vanished, leaving only a blank space devoid of joy or sorrow.

"Lemuen, repent!"

"I will never forget that cactus fruit tart you gave me!"

"Forever! "

A hero's revenge is never too late, even after ten years.

Today is the day of reckoning! As Xiling approached step by step, the relaxed smile on Lemuen's face finally froze.

"I...did I go too far?" A sense of unease crept into her heart.

Before she could think further, a warm hand suddenly grabbed her ankle. Under Lemuen's bewildered gaze, Xiling's fingertips surged with magic, and a pure white feather materialized out of thin air. Seeing that feather, alarm bells rang in Lemuen's mind! Meanwhile, Exusiai was clearly unaware of the impending disaster.

She feels an itch.

It seems harmless.

But in reality, it was a cruel form of torture.

The next second.

Xiling held a feather and gently stroked Lemuen's sensitive sole—instantly, an unbearable, piercing sensation shot through their bodies like an electric current!

Exusiai cried out in surprise, and the hand kneading her sister's chest subconsciously increased its pressure... and this force was completely fed back to her through "empathy"!

"Ugh!" Exusiai groaned, loosening her grip slightly as if she had been burned.

Xiling seemed oblivious to this, continuing with focused, elegant, and delicate gliding of the feather across Lemuen's soles. Each feather's touch carried a pure, irresistible itch, precisely triggering Lemuen's desire to laugh.

"Pfft... Haha... Wait! Xiling... Wait!" Lemuen instantly lost her composure, twisting her body in an attempt to break free from the iron-like grip.

"Now you know you were wrong?" Xiling's voice was calm and even.

"Too late." The feathers fluttered again.

"Hahaha... Brother-in-law! I'm done playing! Spare me! Hahaha..." Exusiai laughed so hard that tears streamed down her face, and she was breathless.

"Oh, I forgot to block your shared senses." Xiling seemed to just realize it, and with a slight thought, the wonderful sensory connection between the sisters was instantly severed.

Then, he completely let go and increased the amplitude and frequency of the feather movements!

"Hahahahaha—" Lemuen's usual gentle and composed image completely collapsed. She rolled around on the bed and laughed without any regard for her image, tears streaming down her face.

Seeing her usually gentle, mature, and seemingly in complete control older sister now laughing uncontrollably and almost collapsing like an unfamiliar person... Exusiai's eyes instantly lit up with a mischievous glint!

The revenge just now... seems to have left you wanting to do more?

So, without hesitation, she extended her clutches again! A pincer attack! One hand tickled relentlessly, while the other rubbed the most sensitive areas, repaying her double!

Not long after, the door opened, and two people carrying freshly baked, steaming buns on their heads slunk out.

"Hiss... your older sister really doesn't hold back." Xiling touched the bump on his forehead.

"It's alright," Exusiai said with a satisfied look, even touching the symmetrical bump on her head as if reminiscing.

"You got hit with a normal attack, but I took a fatal blow. How can you compare?" Xiling reached out, his fingertips glowing faintly, and healed the bump on Exusiai's head. As for the one on his own head? Hmm, it's good to keep it. Consider it a warning sign; it might effectively prevent further attacks.

"Serves you right, who told you to mess with my sister like that?" Exusiai nudged Xiling with her elbow, gloating.

"Hey! You're the one who dragged me into this!" Xiling retorted immediately.

"I asked you for help, not for you to play non-stop!" Exusiai blinked her innocent big eyes, looking like it was all your fault.

Xiling paused for two seconds, then his lips twitched.

"...Okay, what you said does make some sense."

Inside the room, Lemuen took off her water-soaked lower garments and changed into an elegant nun's habit from the Silver Church, neatly tying her long hair into a single ponytail.

"Lemuel is one thing…" She looked at herself in the dressing mirror, her fingers lightly brushing the hem of her skirt, but her eyes gradually turned dangerous.

"Xiling… hehehe…" A low chuckle echoed in the quiet room.

"This matter is not over. Don't think that it can be left like this today."

She stared at her reflection in the mirror, as if delivering a verdict. Pushing open the door, she was greeted by two door gods standing ramrod straight on either side, their faces plastered with exaggeratedly fawning smiles.

"Sis! You look so beautiful in this outfit! And this hairstyle! It's like it was made for you! A perfect match!" Exusiai gave a thumbs up and showered everyone with compliments.

"Exactly! Lemuen is so beautiful! She's like a goddess descended to earth!" Xiling immediately followed up, trying to cover up his unease with even more exaggerated praise.

Lemuen's gaze swept over the two of them, first settling on Exusiai. Exusiai shrank back, but her smile became even brighter, even carrying a hint of coquettish flattery.

Lemuen then turned to Xiling.

Just as Xiling was about to force an even brighter smile like Exusiai… Lemuen's gaze, like an invisible icicle, pierced straight at him, conveying an unmistakable message: It's you. Just wait.

Xiling: ... It's discrimination! Isn't this way too obvious?! This is going too far!

"Let's go," Lemuen said casually, taking the lead.

Exusiai immediately gave Xiling a "take care and good luck" look, then jogged to catch up with Lemuen and affectionately took her arm.

"Sis~ this outfit is so pretty, do you have any extras? I can get one too!"

"I can also join your Silver Church and contribute my light!"

"I do have some, I'll send you a set later."

"My sis is the best! Love you!" Exusiai cheered excitedly. Xiling followed silently behind, inwardly groaning: Lemuen! Can't you even look at me? Your complete disregard is making me even more scared!

Lemuen and Xiling's departure was, of course, not without warning. Kal'tsit, the Doctor, and Amiya were already waiting at the designated location.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." Lemuen nodded slightly to the three of them.

"We just arrived recently," the Doctor waved his hand.

"Miss Lemuen, Mr. Xiling, thank you so much for your help these past two days!" Amiya bowed deeply in gratitude.

Lemuen reached out and gently helped the young leader up:

"No need for such formalities. We are allies now, and everyone on Rhodes Island is naturally our partner, our compatriot. Lending a helping hand is our duty."

Amiya's eyes shone with gratitude:

"No matter what, Rhodes Island will always remember this kindness."

After a brief exchange, Kal'tsit stepped forward and got to the point:

"Now that we are allies, could you tell me a little about the situation of the Silver Church?"

To this day, Rhodes Island has virtually no information about this mysterious church. All they know is that this Lemuen before them is a cardinal, someone involved with divine beings.

However, they knew nothing about the church's size, locations, or other information.

Lemuen chuckled softly.

"As for the number of people... there are probably only two at the moment."

"Hey! Sis! What about me?!" Exusiai immediately raised her hand, pointed to herself, and jumped up and down.

"…That makes three." Lemuen corrected the number.

Kal'tsit's gaze lingered on the three people before her for a moment before she finally concluded, "So, this is... a newly established church?"

"At least in this world, that's certainly true," Lemuen readily admitted.

"At least in this world... That's an interesting statement." The Doctor silently noted down this intriguing remark.

His gaze then drifted to Xiling standing behind Lemuen—that guy exuded an aura of utter unease and despair, practically screaming, "I'm going to die!"

"What mischief has this guy gotten himself into this time?" The doctor guessed the reason almost instantly.

In a sense, this guy's thoughts are too easy to understand.

"Regardless, we will always remember your contributions to Rhodes Island. If you ever need Rhodes Island's help in the future, please feel free to speak up without any hesitation." Kal'tsit's tone remained calm, yet it contained an undeniable seriousness.

She knew the other party might not need it, but Rhodes Island's stance had to be made clear.

Lemuen smiled gently: "Then I may have to trouble you all quite a bit in the future."

"You're welcome anytime! Just let us know!" the Doctor immediately replied.

"Definitely." Lemuen nodded, then looked at Exusiai, who said, "Sister, are you really leaving? Will you miss me?"

"Of course I miss you!" Exusiai touched her nose, a hint of lingering affection in her smile. Even though she was prepared, the reluctance to part still quietly permeated the air.

"Good girl." Lemuen smiled and ruffled Exusiai's hair.

Then, when her gaze turned to Xiling, the smile on her face vanished instantly.

Xiling coughed lightly and took half a step forward.

He took out several items from inside the starry cloak.

"Here is the nun's habit you requested." A neatly folded, plain white nun's habit was handed to Exusiai.

"This is a communicator that allows you to contact your older sister anytime." A communicator with a simple design but an extraordinary aura was placed in Exusiai's hand.

Then, Xiling turned to the doctor: "Communicator, contact me if needed." His words were concise and to the point.

"Thanks!" The Doctor took it and casually put it in his pocket.

"Finally, I need to trouble Rhodes Island with one more thing." Lemuen's gaze fell on Amiya.

"Miss Lemuen, please speak." Amiya nodded.

"I need a car, and…" Lemuen's gaze swept over the crowd, and she clearly uttered the name: "Talulah."
