Author's POV
The immortals or as they are more commonly called, vampires are bloodthirsty beings who gain strength by drinking blood. Vampires rarely appear in daylight, for as legends say, sunlight could kill them. But that isn't entirely true. Being exposed to light simply makes them uncomfortable.
There are different races of vampires. The purebloods are born of two vampire parents. The "turned" ones are those who were transformed after being bitten, they are much weaker than the purebloods.
Vampires live in a vast fortress near Harmonie, nicknamed "The Fortress of Death." Inside this castle are many chambers. One could say the fortress is massive and towering. At the very top lies the royal floor, the living quarters of the vampire nobility.
We are now shown the room of a young man sleeping deeply in his bed.

Kemran's POV
" Sh*t…" I muttered
I find myself in a thick fog.
" My lord!!" said a voice
" F*ck, who are you?" I asked while the man look at me.
" It doesn't matter who I am, my lord. What matters is why you are here." replied the man
" And why the hell am I here?" I retorted
" I'm here to guide you down the right path, my lord." said the man
" Damn it, you've been saying that for ages, and I'm sick of it." I said
" I'm talking about an alliance, my lord." said the man
" What alliance?" I asked
" An alliance between Harmonie and Silver Moon." said the man
" What the hell!? With our enemies?" I asked with sarcasm
" Together, the three of you could defeat evil. But to do that, you must—" said the man but the conversation is cut off suddenly as I feel water splash over me.
" WHAT THE F*CK ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM, DAMMIT!!!" I yelled
" I just wanted to…" said my shitty sister but I interrupt her
" JUST WHAT, KRITÉA? YOU INTERRUPTED SOMETHING IMPORTANT AGAIN. GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW." I yelled
" Kan…" called her but..
" I SAID GET OUT." I yelled
She leaves, crying. I don't care. Today, I could've finally been free from those nightmares, but for the thousandth time, she ruined everything again. Ughhh I hate her. I hate her.
What? Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Let me introduce myself. I'm Kemran Kan TALOR, son of the great vampire lord Kamran TALOR. My mother is just a servant, Kamla TALOR. And that witch, that girl who just left in tears, she's my younger sister, Kritéa TALOR.
If you're expecting an apology, dream on, idiots.
I get out of bed and head to my bathroom. I take a quick shower and step out with a towel around my waist. I stand in front of the mirror and brush my hair.
What? Yeah, I have long hair. So what?
I tie it back and leave a strand hanging over my face. I slip on my pants, black shoes, and a black jacket over a black T-shirt. Huh, I look like some mafia boss only thing missing is a cigarette.
Let me tell you how this fortress works. First of all, it's huge ten times bigger than the biggest mansion you could imagine. Thousands of us live here. The head of this great fortress is, of course, my father. Only his word counts.
My grandfather died 17 years ago after losing my uncle, Kamil. From what I heard, Kamil was a daddy's boy—always obeyed my grandfather, had a strong personality. Meanwhile, my dad was a fool back then. Was. He's way worse now, according to everyone—and yeah, I can totally see it.
I go downstairs at lightning speed. Literally vampires move fast. In two seconds, I'm already in the dining room, where I hear my stupid sister sobbing.
I sigh before entering.
" Kemran, why did you yell at your sister!!!" said my greatest father, Kamran DELMAL
" She complained." I said bored
" Kemran, it's your duty to protect her, not yell at her! She is your little sister Do you understand that!?" said father
" And her job is to piss me off. I'm done with her. Assign someone else to protect her." I said
" Kemran, please, don't speak to your father like that. He's your father, show him respect." said my mother, Kamla
" Oh sure, but tell Kritéa never to enter my room again. Not even knock. In fact, none of you have the right to come in. Got it?" I said
" Kemran, my son, why are you so cold toward us?" asked father
" You dare ask me that? I grew up hating witches and vampires. You filled my childhood with hate and revenge. And now you question my attitude? I'm done here. Don't bother me again when I'm in my room. Because thanks to your little "protected one," I missed out on the answers I've been waiting for." I replied coldly
" Kemran, I did all this to make you strong." said father
" Exactly, my lord. You taught me hatred when I was six. A child trained to master every type of weapon—congrats, you raised a weapon-obsessed maniac. " I said
I turn to leave.
" KEMRAN KAN TALOR, COME BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!" shouted my father
" Send me a message if you want to reach me." I said
I leave him standing there, shouting after me.
