But unlike how it was portrayed in the original series, the teaching of the advanced techniques of the main family was not restricted, but it was just that for the branch members it was simply a waste of time.
The reason for this was because the learning of techniques like the rotation, is impossible to learn in its original form of the main family.
As such almost no member of the branch family learns those techniques, they simply learn ninjutsu to act in similar roles to compensate for that weakness.

A meeting in a private room in the hokage tower, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Shikaku Nara, and many of the examiners and the teachers of the genins in the exams could be seen.
The meeting was started by Shikaku Nara.
"So out of the nine Konoha genins who managed to get into the third stage of the chunin exam, who do you think are qualified to be promoted to chunins."
As Shikaku asked the question, the examiners and the teachers, started to analyze their abilities and their performance in the Chunin exams to decide the people who are qualified to be promoted.
Even though Shikaku was the one that was precising with the meeting, he looked like the one who was paying the least amount of attention.
If his eyes didn't have a slight gap, it would be hard to know whether he was being sleeping or awake.
And unlike Shikaku who had built a reputation for being extremely lazy, the other person had a reputation to upkeep so he couldn't exactly slack off in the meeting, and this person was the third hokage.
And even though he had minimul involvement with the whole ordeal, it was a tradition for the hokage to oversee the promotions in the village.
In the end, after over 4 hours of debating between the examiners, they had come to a rough conclusion on the people who were going to be promoted, the only one who was still on the table was Uchiha Daichi.
The reason he was the only one was because of his usual Uchiha personality.
And the problem with the usual Uchiha personality was because unless they acknowledge you, they won't work together with you.
And because as a chunin, you will have to act as a leader, this kind of personality traits is seen as a disadvantage, though his exceptional strength was seen as a counter balance to this argument, so the argument continued.
But in the end after another hour of debating, the hokage himself agreed to the promotion of Uchiha Daichi.
As for the reasons behind this move, those remained unknown to most people in the room, with one exception.
'Hmm, he's trying to show a gesture of good will to the Uchiha? But this kind of matter is too small to matter so it probably won't make a wave.
But I guess he just doesn't have the opportunities to do more.'
After making such a judgement in a single moment, Shikakus slightly widened eyelids fell down back to their usual level.
After the hokage spoke, a young nervous examiner asked a question.
"What about the genins of other nations? Are we not going to judge whether they are suitable to become chunins?"
"No need, it's not in our authority to promote ninjas of other villages, and it's not like we get any benefits from it anyways, so it's not any of our business."
When Yujiro arrived there, he could see both Hyori and Mujin, like he had expected.
But other than that, both Hatake Takekumi and Uchiha Daichi were there, but Yujiro wasn't really surprised by this.
But what did make him a bit surprised and dumbfounded was Mujin's next question.
"Hey Yujiro. Why do you think they summoned all of us here?"
When he uttered those words both Yujiro and Hyori looked at him speechlessly.
After looking at him like he was an idiot, Yujiro spoke.
"Hyori I now pass down to you the impertinent responsibility of educating your future husband, about the common sense of this world."
Though Yujiro spoke them at a neutral tone, Hyori could still notice a trace of resignation in his tone.
But when she looked at Mujin, even she felt a bit of resignation, but after a moment, she still explained to Mujin.
"We were most likely called here due to our excellent performance in the Chunin exams.
And as hokage-sama said in the closing speech in the chunin exams.
They will take around a week to decide the people who will be promoted to the ranks of chunins."
After Hyori explained the course of events so meticulously, even Mujin realized why his two teammates were looking at him so strangely.
So in response he tried to defend himself.
"It's not that I didn't listen to grandpa's speech, its that I just forgot due to the training I have been doing in the past days."
But when he saw Yujiros and Hyoris unimpressed looks, he shrunk down in himself.
