O'Conner, who had just arrived, didn't bother with Roman. He also saw what was in the container, and he immediately ignored Roman.
"You f**king…!" O'Conner swore under his breath. "Are you going to war?"
O'Conner's reaction quickly drew the attention of everyone else, who was still looking at the parts. When they saw what was in the container, their reactions were similar to when they had just found out that Reyes's men were openly storing money in the police station.
They were surprised and dumbfounded.
"Don't talk nonsense. I'm on vacation, and this… is just a small modification," Morin said with a laugh. "A fully automatic Gatling gun, a bulletproof body, bulletproof tires, a reinforced and heavy frame, and the most powerful engine… with a top speed of 120 mph, it can run for an hour or two without a problem."
"Why can it only run for an hour or two?" Roman asked.
"Because going at full speed for an hour or two would lead to a very serious problem," Morin said, glancing at Roman. "No gas."
Inside the container, a tall, armored off-road vehicle was quietly sitting there. It had external anti-collision devices, thick armor, and the most eye-catching thing was the massive gun that would spew blue fire when it was operating.
Without a doubt, no one wanted to test out how powerful that thing was!
"An hour or two is more than enough. With this, we could probably succeed just by rushing in and robbing them…" Toretto said. Then he shook his head. "But let's try not to cause too many casualties. Reyes's men are fair game, but let's try not to hurt any police or civilians."
Even though the police who were colluding with Reyes were probably not good people, that wasn't a reason for them to go on a killing spree… they were only after money, not lives.
Morin didn't plan to get involved. He just provided everyone with the equipment and modified the cars. Afterward, he went to the Rio beach according to his original plan.
But even though Morin didn't want to get involved and only wanted to get his money, upgrade his title, and open up the next world, trouble still found him.
Luke Hobbs, a federal agent, a muscular man whose actor, Dwayne Johnson, was affectionately nicknamed "The little Rock" in front of Shaquille O'Neal.
Hmm… was something wrong there?
It didn't matter. What mattered was that Hobbs was looking for him.
He couldn't help it. Toretto and his crew were too high-profile when they burned Reyes's warehouse money, and Hobbs's team had identified them using facial recognition technology.
After that, Hobbs used their existing records to find everyone who had a connection to Toretto. He then filtered the list by people who had "recently entered Rio" and successfully found all the people Toretto had called for help.
But finding them was one thing; actually locating them was another. After all, Toretto and his crew weren't idiots. They mostly stayed in that abandoned factory and didn't show their faces when they went out. Rio was a big and chaotic city, and Hobbs had no way of finding them. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack.
But one person wasn't hiding.
Gisele still needed to participate in the operation, because if she wanted to get her share of the more than ten million dollars, she had to be involved. There was no other way.
So, Morin had to go to the beach alone. But for a multi-millionaire with a great body and a handsome face, was it really that hard to find beautiful women to accompany him?
Lying on a beach chair, feeling the sea breeze, Morin was enjoying the two bikini-clad women next to him applying sunscreen while he admired the ocean view.
And it was Morin that Hobbs was after.
Everyone else was hiding, but you're out here in the open. Who else would I look for but you?
"But, Hobbs, have you looked at Morin's file?" Elena said in the car. "He's a multi-millionaire and a major shareholder in many large companies!"
"That's not my concern," Hobbs said, shaking his head. "He's not in the U.S. If he were, I would have to worry about his relationship with the local police, his connections with powerful people, or his other identities. But he's not. He's in a foreign country where he has no power. Here, it's about who has the bigger fist, and my fist is clearly bigger than his!"
Soon, Hobbs, who looked completely out of place on the beach with his clothes and demeanor, arrived on the beach with his team and went straight for Morin.
Morin, who had just finished getting his sunscreen applied and was basking in the sun, suddenly felt a shadow fall over him.
He opened his eyes and saw a bald head… a sweaty, fuzzy bald head.
Morin: "..."
"In this kind of weather, wearing these clothes and coming to the beach, officer, are you too weak and afraid of the cold?" Morin said, not wanting to continue sunbathing under the watchful eye of a man who could drip sweat at any moment. He stood up and stretched.
The women around, including Elena, subconsciously looked over. They felt their mouths go dry, and some of them even swallowed.
There's no doubt that women have a similar reaction to men when they see a handsome guy, and it's completely subconscious.
"Morin, right?" Hobbs also noticed the women's reactions and was a little annoyed.
My muscles are way bigger than his, why have I never seen you look at me like that?
If Morin knew what Hobbs was thinking, he would probably reply, "Sorry, a moderate amount of muscle attracts the opposite sex, but an excessive amount attracts the same sex… besides, I'm more handsome than you."
But Morin didn't have mind-reading abilities, so he feigned ignorance. "Who are you? What are you looking for me for?"
"I'm Luke Hobbs, a federal agent," Hobbs said, pulling out his badge and staring at Morin. "Mr. Morin, I need you to tell me everything you know about Dominic Toretto, Brian O'Conner, and everyone else!"
